Mark Green Withdraws as Nominee for Army Secretary

“President Trump’s pick for Army Secretary, Mark Green, has withdrawn his name from consideration,” NBC News reported late Friday afternoon:

“Tragically, my life of public service and my Christian beliefs have been mischaracterized and attacked by a few on the other side of the aisle for political gain,” Green said in a statement sent to NBC News. “While these false attacks have no bearing on the needs of the Army or my qualifications to serve, I believe it is critical to give the President the ability to move forward with his vision to restore our military to its rightful place in the world.”

Sources familiar with Green’s situation tell The Tennessee Star that the character attacks on him from Islamic activists and LGBT activists did not receive any pushback from the Pentagon or the White House. This left Green hanging out by himself, getting battered unfairly without the ability to respond.

“It’s frightening that a White House that has opened its doors to Americans of all backgrounds now allows Mark Green to be denied the opportunity to provide his service to our country because he is ‘too Christian.’ This is a shameful indication that persecution of Christians isn’t limited to persons overseas,” former Tennessee radio talk show host and media consultant Steve Gill tells The Star.

Prior to his nomination as Secretary of the Army, State Senator Green (R-Clarksville) said he was considering a run for the GOP nomination for governor in Tennessee in 2018.

Mr. Green, there is “The rest of the story” that you cannot tell the public, but your reputation as a stellar Public Servant precedes you. Please come back home to Tennessee and either run for Governor or run to replace one of the Rinos US Senators we have been saddled with for the past two decades.

Looks like Trump is coming around to seeing things the way Washington sees them, don’t make waves when you are opposed.

Trump is on his way to becoming the second worse president we’ve ever had, and because of sorry A** people like most of you, America is going down the tube with him.

You’d rather complain about the government and politicians instead of using your 2th Amendment right to take control of the government and make things right.

Even George Soro couldn’t pay enough to get some of you out in the streets to prortest, much less fight.

Don’t blame Washington/Politics, they are just a reflection of the kind of people who have been electing them for “Decades”.

A “Wakeup vote” for Trump to close the barn door is too late, the horse is already out and gone, and nothing short of a “Gun Batttle” will corral that horse again, all the “Hitlers/Stalins” and “love of “Money and Power” didn’t die with WW2.

And like them, their personal death was the only thing that could stop them.

So, while you’re complaining about Green being a quitter, you might want to look in the mirror at another one.

There is a great deal more to this story. He didn’t take the Black induced bate. He will be our next Governor.

Trump deserves at least some blame! He should have stood by Mark! Guess he cares more about not offending the LBGQT freak show than standing up for normal Americans with traditional values especially Christians. CAIR and the freakshow 1- America 0.

We only know ONE side of the story. There may be more to it. Please dont jump on Trump. This guy may be another one that wont follow Trump policies. We dont know.

Don’t jump on Trump? Trump didn’t stand up for his own very qualified nominee! He never spoke up for him and he could have! Mark my words the next secretary will either be a pervert like the current Obama appointee or will be supportive of that garbage! Pathetic and disgraceful!
