Hamilton County ‘Queer Activist’ Substitute Teachers Busted in Prostitution Sting

According to several reports, a “queer and trans activist couple,” both of whom were employed as substitute teachers in Hamilton County Schools, were cited on prostitution charges after an August sting operation.

A police report says that 22-year-old Ezra Fry and 25-year-old David Acevedo were cited in late August and that Chattanooga Police Narcotics and Vice Detectives carried out the undercover prostitution sting.

Fry (pictured above, left) is a transgender woman and married to Acevedo (pictured above, right). Both taught at elementary schools in the county as late as this school year.

The police arranged to meet Fry “via an illicit prostitution website” for sex. The price for the sex acts was set at $150.

“The officer arrived at the Orchard Knob home, where the report says Fry led him to a back bedroom and took his money,” according to WTVC. “It was then the officer identified himself and he and other agents detained both Fry and Acevedo.”

The police report noted that “both made statements during and after the search to include both stating that ‘they have to do this or they will starve,'” and noted that Fry ” has been engaging in this activity for several years as a way to earn money.”

Police also said they found a large amount of drug paraphernalia and a .22 caliber handgun in the home.

Both were given misdemeanor citations for unlawful drug paraphernalia, prostitution and promoting prostitution, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession.

It is unclear whether they will have to appear in court.

Acevedo was reportedly suspended without pay on August 29, but it is also unclear whether Fry has been removed from the classroom.

A spokesperson for the school district reportedly told WTVC that “it’s his understanding” that Fry has not worked in the school district since the incident.

The Tennessee Conservative reported in April that Fry was under fire from local parents for making school children call her “Mrs.” despite the fact that she is a biological male.

It looks like there is absolutely no reliable vetting of “teachers” in Hamilton Ounty.
What a disgrace to the State of Tennessee.

And this is what Hamilton County hires as substitute teachers???? I would not have allowed either of these two to even walk my dog let alone enter a classroom to teach children. They would give children nightmares. GET YOUR KIDS OUT OF THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYTEM. No EXCUSES.

These people are the face of public education that School Boards, and wise academics endorse nationwide. Don’t expect either of them to be prevented from mentally abusing children or convincing them that bad decisions and criminal behavior are a good thing. The TEA will find a way to get these two promoted into some illegal activity on behalf of public education. Perhaps pornographic drug training for kids who can’t smoke pot or have sex at home.
