Commentary: Decadent Elites Plunge America into Political Crisis

If the last seven years of constant anti-Trump intrigue have shown anything, it’s that America’s liberal so-called elites want to govern a certain way and will not tolerate being told otherwise. Given Donald Trump’s recent arrest, they could not make themselves any clearer apart from possibly having the man killed. If he goes to prison, he very well may die there.

These kinds of dramatic outcomes to political battles are supposed to be precluded in a government of consent, which allows for a peaceful transfer of power (another phrase, like Our Democracy™, that has been bastardized in the mouths of the elites). Uprisings, show trials, assassinations, and the like are not supposed to be necessary when the people can choose and remove their rulers.

Commentary: The Right’s Political Campaigns Need to Change as Its Political Landscape Has Become America First Supporters

Everyone knows how the 2016 election transformed the American electorate overnight. Many voters were shaken from their “tax cuts and gun rights” slumber and awakened to the decline and corruption of America’s culture, economy, and entire political system.

After that election, Republican voters watched many of their own representatives betray the MAGA movement rather than help their constituents change the status quo. Internet searches for the phrase “GOP establishment” increased by a hundredfold. The “deplorables”—also known as the people—laid siege to the elites with tremendous energy.

War Room: Steve Bannon to Steve Moore, ‘We Are the DIP Lenders, No More Continuing Resolution’

Stephen K. Bannon welcomed economic writer and political analyst, Steve Moore on Friday’s War Room: Pandemic to discuss the federal government’s budget timeline and how Republicans are now in a position as DIP lenders to say no to more time. Bannon: Ok. Let’s go to Steve Moore. Steve Moore, another bunch of happy talk all over. And I want to make sure people understand this process because the audience and the American people have all the power. In D.C. they don’t have the power. And this is raw politics. Power politics. Money and power. We have midnight on the 30th, the federal government’s budget runs out. They have to get authorization to spend a penny the next day or the Democrats have to shut the government down. And, because of divine providence, on October 15th, 15 days later they run out of the ability to even spend that money because the debt ceiling locks them in and they can’t borrow anymore. So for this audience, if you would have sat there and said I want the government to stop spending. These politicians don’t do it, stop complaining. The power is in your hands. There is no more intermediary. You…

Commentary: What the Capitol Celebrity Police Officers Did to Roseanne Boyland

The most violent clashes between police and protesters on January 6 occurred inside and outside the west terrace tunnel. The tunnel leads to doors that open into the Capitol building; according to federal documents, “the Lower West Terrace Door was heavily guarded by U.S. Capitol Police and [D.C. Metro Police] personnel, who had formed a defensive line to prevent unauthorized access into the U.S. Capitol via the tunnel.”

Dozens of people have been arrested and charged with various offenses, including assaulting police, for their conduct at the tunnel that afternoon.

Commentary: The Left’s 1960s ‘Animal Farm’ Dream is America’s 2021 Nightmare

George Orwell published Animal Farm in August 1945, in the closing weeks of the Pacific War. Even then, most naïve supporters of the wartime Soviet-British-American alliance were no longer in denial about the contours of Moscow’s impending postwar communist aggression.

The short, allegorical novel’s human-like farm animals replay the transition of supposedly 1917 revolutionary Bolsheviks into cynical 1930s Stalinists. Thereby, they remind us that leftist totalitarianism inevitably becomes far worse than the supposed parasitical capitalists they once toppled.

Commentary: Dear Globalists, People Are Not Commodities

by Spencer P. Morrison   Afraid his son would steal his throne, Dionysius I, Tyrant of Syracuse, locked the boy away in a tower. Never leaving his prison, the boy learned about the world from his teachers and books. War, rhetoric, politics—he mastered them all. The boy was Leonidas without soldiers, Pericles without words, Themistocles without followers. Everything changed when Dionysius I died. The boy—now a man—ascended the throne. Yet for all his knowledge he lost battles, forgot speeches, and impoverished his people. Dionysius II even invited Plato to help him rule as a philosopher-king. But all Plato’s wisdom proved worthless. He was lucky to escape Syracuse with his life. Although Dionysius II knew everything, he also knew nothing. Theory is not reality. Logic is not experience. Knowledge is not skill. Dionysius never realized that his knowledge was ignorance, and his ignorance, knowledge. He died in disgrace. This lesson remains true today, particularly in the field of economics. For example, although international free trade looks like a good theory, it seldom works in reality. Why? Because underlying the theory are a number of false assumptions. Free trade’s logical foundation is quicksand and no matter how sturdy and elaborate the edifice…

Todd Starnes Commentary: Biden Calls Trump Supporters Virulent ‘Dregs of Society’

by Todd Starnes   Former Vice President Joe Biden unleashed a vicious attack on supporters of President Trump during a Washington, D.C. dinner for the Human Rights Campaign, an LGBT civil rights organization. “These forces of intolerance remain determined to undermine and roll back the progress you all have made,” the vice president snarled. “This time they – not you – have an ally in the White House. This time they have an ally.” And then the vice president unloaded on the “Make America Great Again” crowd. “They are a small percentage of the American people – virulent people – some of them the dregs of society,” he declared to applause from his adoring fans. How ironic that an organization that opposes bullying and intolerance cheered for a man who was advocating bullying and intolerance. “Instead of using the full might of the Executive Branch to secure justice, dignity, safety for all, the president uses the White House as a literal, literal bully pulpit – callously exerting his power over those who have little or none,” Biden said. I’ve said many times on my radio program that Democrats and their minions hate President Trump’s supporters more than they hate the…
