DeSantis Admin Moves to Revoke Liquor License of Venue Which Allowed Kids to See ‘Sexual’ Drag Show

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ administration moved to revoke an Orlando venue’s liquor license after it allowed minors to attend a “sexual” drag performance, according to a complaint filed by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco.

The department said Friday that the venue violated Florida statute and would move, therefore, to “enter a penalty revoking [its] license,” according to the complaint. The decision came after the DeSantis administration warned in December it would revoke the venue’s liquor license if it did not age-restrict its “A Drag Queen Christmas” show which featured “sexual” acts.

Madison’s East High School to Host ‘Family Friendly’ Drag Show

Madison East High School will host a “family friendly” drag show later this month, a taxpayer-funded woke event that is “Exhibit A” for expanded school choice, according to a parental rights activist.  

East High parents recently received an email announcing the event, sponsored by the Gender and Sexuality Alliance. The show is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Jan. 19, according to the school’s calendar. The festivities will take place in the high school’s Margaret Williams Theater.

Florida Investigates Christmas-Themed Drag Show for ‘All Ages’

On Tuesday, Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) announced that it would launch an investigation into a performing arts center that hosted a drag show targeted towards little children.

As reported by the Daily Caller, the investigation is focusing on the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, which hosted the “Drag Queen Christmas” event the day after Christmas; advertisements for the event have since been removed from the center’s website, but archived versions remain available on the Internet.

Memphis Science and History Museum Holding ‘Family Friendly’ Drag Show, Sparking Backlash

The Memphis Museum of Science and History is facing backlash after news emerged that it will hold a drag show for people of all ages on September 23.

After the show, we’ll kick off our intergenerational dance party, where everyone is invited to come together and dance the night away. Join us for a night of art, music, dance, and community at the museum.”

Memphis Science Museum to Host ‘Family Friendly’ Drag Show

A Tennessee science museum is hosting its first ever “family friendly” drag show as a part of its “Summer of Pride” program, according to the museum website.

The Museum of Science and History in Memphis, Tennessee, which is a “place to explore, discover and experience history, science, culture and nature” is promoting its “Memphis Proud Drag Show And Dance Party” on Sept. 23 to be “family friendly” and open to all ages, according to the museum website. The event will feature seven performers including “drag clown” Barbie Wyre, who is hosting the event, Angel Fartz and Siren Moss, who will “manifest the art of drag.”

Gay Nightclub Hosts Drag Show for Children in Minnesota

A Duluth nightclub hosted a drag show for children that featured performers dancing provocatively while kids handed them tips.

The event was called “Mama’s Toybox” and occurred in early May at a venue called The Flame Nightclub Duluth. “Come join local kings and queens for an all ages drag show!” read the posting that advertised the event. “Introduce the next generation to a kid-friendly world of Drag!”

Former Arizona School Counselor Who Organized Drag Show for Students Arrested for Alleged Inappropriate Relationship with 15-Year-Old Student

A former Arizona high school counselor who helped organize a drag queen show for students has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old student.

Zobella Brazil Vinik, 29, who resigned on May 5 from Tucson Unified School District, is accused of having the inappropriate relationship off school grounds with a 15-year-old student, KOLD News 13 reported Friday.

Ohio Library Plans ‘Drag 101’ Program for Teenagers Featuring Former Miss Gay Ohio America

  An Ohio library plans to host a “drag 101” program for teenagers to explore the “art of drag” and meet with former Miss Gay Ohio America Selena T. West. “Curious about the art of drag and no idea where to start? Come learn the basics with former Miss Gay Ohio America and local queen, Selena T. West. We will learn about the application of makeup and creating characters, as well as the history of drag,” an online description for the event states. “All genders welcome. Teens only, please.” The event is set to take place on June 5 at the Delaware County District Library’s Orange Branch as part of a number of summer programs for teenagers. The library’s Board of Trustees hosted a public meeting Tuesday night to discuss the event, but its recording of the meeting cut off just ten minutes in. “We are experiencing some technical difficulties in network and signal out here in Ostrander,” the library claimed on Facebook. “We’re going to try to record remaining comments and post.” The library later claimed that “the service at the facility was poor and we have no more recordings from this.” The recording, however, did manage to capture…
