Something reprehensible happened this week during a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on the U.S. Intelligence Community’s annual worldwide threats report. In addition to discussing threats to our country from China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, and terrorist groups, the report questioned the leadership of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and said large protests in Israel demanding his resignation could drive him from power.

Tennessee Congressman Mark Green Signs on to Letter Demanding Biden Reconsider Jack Lew Nomination as U.S. Ambassador to Israel

U.S. Congressman and Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green (R-TN-07) has signed onto a letter demanding that President Joe Biden reconsider the potential nomination of former Treasury Secretary Democrat Jack Lew to be the next U.S. Ambassador to Israel.

This follows reports that Lew is Biden’s leading candidate for the position of ambassador.

Omar Says There’s ‘No Way in Hell’ She Will Attend Israeli President’s Congressional Address

Rep. Ilhan Omar says there is “no way in hell” that she will attend Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s joint address to Congress and that he should not even be invited to speak.

“There is no way in hell I am attending the joint session address from a President whose country has banned me and denied @RashidaTlaib the ability to see her grandma,” Omar, a Minnesota Democrat, tweeted Wednesday.

Netanyahu Unveils ‘Trump Heights’ In Israel’s Golan Heights

by Molly Prince   Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and members of his administration gathered in the Golan Heights on Sunday to unveil a sign for the community, newly named “Ramat Trump,” which translates into “Trump Heights.” “We are proud to have the opportunity to establish a new community,” Netanyahu said during the unveiling. “And also to honor a big friend.” The prime minster pushed to rename the existing community of Bruchim in commemoration of President Donald Trump’s recognition of Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights. The area is home to only a few hundred residents, however, Israeli leadership is anticipating the rebranding will encourage migration, reported The Associated Press.
