Trump Revokes Security Clearance of Former CIA Director John Brennan

Brennan, Rice, Comey, Clapper

The security clearance of a former Central Intelligence Agency director has been revoked by U.S. President Donald Trump, who said in a statement that John Brennan has been sowing “division and chaos” about his administration. The clearances of other former officials also are under review, including those of former National Intelligence Director James Clapper, former FBI Director James Comey, former Obama administration National Security Adviser Susan Rice, former National Security Agency Director Michael Hayden and former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates. “Security clearances for those who still have them may be revoked, and those who have already their lost their security clearance may not be able to have it reinstated,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said to reporters on Wednesday, reading out the statement in the president’s name. Sarah Sanders Reads Trump Statement Revoking Clearances Sanders, responding to reporters’ questions, denied that Brennan and others are being singled out because they are critics of Trump. The president’s statement accuses Brennan of “erratic conduct and behavior” that “has tested and far exceeded the limits of any professional courtesy that may have been due to him.” It also accuses Brennan of “a history that calls into question his objectivity and credibility.”…

The Flawed Red Hen Analogy Shows Liberals Still Don’t Understand Christian Baker Case

Sarah Sanders, Jack Phillips

by Monica Burke   After a Lexington, Virginia, restaurant, the Red Hen, refused service to White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Friday, commentators on the left immediately seized upon a false analogy. They likened that incident to the Masterpiece Cakeshop case, the case of the Christian baker in Colorado who refused to craft a custom cake for a same-sex wedding. That attempt at an analogy reveals that the left still does not understand the Supreme Court’s ruling in Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission. Jack Phillips, the baker, serves all customers, but cannot serve all events. He declined to make a wedding cake for a same-sex couple not because of their identity, because he could not communicate a message that violated his religious beliefs. He even offered the couple any other item in his store. Meanwhile, the Red Hen denied service to Sanders precisely because of who she is. They did not refuse to create a custom order that would have endorsed views they disagreed with. They denied her service, period. The false analogy also reveals the hypocrisy of the left’s position. They accuse people like Phillips, who serves everyone regardless of who they are, of discrimination,…

Eleven Year Old Frank Giaccio Mows Rose Garden Lawn and Meets President Trump

After writing President Trump and making a pitch for the job, eleven year old Frank Giaccio was granted the opportunity to mow the White House’s iconic Rose Garden lawn Friday morning. Much to young Frank’s surprise, President Trump came out to cheer the boy on and thank him for his hard work. The White House assembled a short highlight reel of Frank’s morning at the White House and posted it Friday via a tweet from President Trump himself: Frank “FX” Giaccio-On behalf of @FLOTUS Melania & myself, THANK YOU for doing a GREAT job this morning! @NatlParkService gives you an A+! pic.twitter.com/135DxuapUI — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 15, 2017 We first heard about Frank last month, right after Stephen Miller and Jim Acosta clashed over President Trump’s immigration proposals. You’ll recall sparks flew when Acosta intimated there was a discriminatory element to requiring individuals seeking to enter the United States speak English, and that it would result in immigrants coming from Great Britain or Australia, Miller famously quipped, “I have to honestly say I am shocked at your statement that you think that only people from Great Britain and Australia would know English.  It’s actually — it reveals your cosmopolitan…
