Lady Antebellum to Headline Nashville’s July 4th

Grammy-winning super group Lady Antebellum will headline Nashville’s July 4th, the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp has announced. Newly inducted Grand Ole Opry member Chris Janson, whose hits include “Buy Me a Boat” and “Fix a Drink,” along with pop artist Lucie Silvas and R&B producer, musician and artist Shannon Sanders, are part of the lineup. Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th presented by Dr. Pepper is a free, family-friendly event that showcases the Grammy-winning Nashville Symphony and one of the largest fireworks shows in the country.

“There’s no better place to watch fireworks than Nashville’s downtown riverfront on a night filled with music,” Mayor David Briley said. “That’s why Nashville’s July 4th celebration has quickly become one of the biggest and best in the country. It’s a huge hit for our city and our local businesses as thousands of visitors come to town, and it’s a free, family-friendly event for Nashvillians too. Nashville has musical talent that no other city can match, and it will be on display once again this July 4th.”

The main concert stage will again be located at Fifth Avenue and Broadway and will include a DJ and live music from 4 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. After the concert, the event will shift to the Cumberland Riverfront with a fireworks show synchronized to a live performance by the Nashville Symphony. The program at Ascend Amphitheater will start at 9:15 p.m. with the pyrotechnics running from 9:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The Independence Day celebration will kick off with the Wyler’s Light® Family Fun Zone, which includes inflatables and other kid-friendly activities, from noon to 5 p.m. at Music City Walk of Fame Park.
