Drag queens may be coming to your local library this year to indoctrinate your children, a pastors association says.
The “Drag Queen Story Hour” is returning to Tennessee, this time to the Putnam County Library in Cookeville, the Tennessee Pastors Network said in a press release. The event was scheduled for today.
A promotion for the event proclaims:
Book reading, crafts and a dance party for children. Join us as local drag queens promote anti bullying.

Last August, the drag queens, who travel around the nation, brought their show to the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library, The Tennessee Star reported.
The Tennessee Pastors Network cautions against the trend.
We are seeing further Drag Queen Story Hour readings at public libraries in the Bible Belt,” the network’s President Dale Walker said in a statement. “This should be a matter of grave concern to pastors in Tennessee with a biblical worldview. The LGBTQ isn’t just interested in tolerance, but they demand dominance and want to silence the pulpit that would dare preach about cultural issues. The church has everything to lose if we don’t stand up on these issues. Activists for this vocal agenda are at the public library today, and tomorrow they will be knocking on church doors demanding to be hired as youth leaders. The LGBTQ agenda preaches tolerance, but they are the intolerant ones who try to force bakers, photographers and artists to go against their sincerely held beliefs and litigate them out of business.”
Walker called for pastors to protest the event scheduled for 1 p.m. CT today “to proclaim to the politicians and elected leaders that enough is enough and that this crosses the line of what libraries are intended for.”
Libraries are not places for social agendas, Walker added.

Men in full drag reading books to kids at the public library? No wonder people are protesting! Drag Queen Story Hours have been held at libraries or book stores the last couple of years in cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New Orleans, and New York. Now it has come to the South, and some are protesting—a librarian is reported to have even resigned over the issue. One individual summed up their concerns on social media: “The program is designed to purposely target children so as to make sexual perversion acceptable through repeated exposure.” I urge parents and library workers to let your concerns be known. Parents and grandparents can effectively protest by staying out of the library altogether on those days and letting others know to keep their children away also. And why not ask about starting a Christian Book Story Hour at those same libraries? The Bible tells us, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5).”

This is wrong on so many levels
This is perversion and now it’s aimed at the children , God help us all if we allow this and don’t stand up for what is right. This is not tolerance this is pushing their agenda and this perversion down our children’s throats . We need to have a petition in every county of TN to stop this at every library in TN
God is the same, today, tommorow and forever. You are flaunting your sin in His holy face. That is not tolerance and diversity. It is out and out sin.

Teaching perversion to 3-8 year old children is not my idea of “diversity” or “tolerance”.
Sad day in Cookeville for anyone who has eyes to see and ears to hear what is really happening here.
I am from Putnam co and a TTU alum. So proud this story hour is happening and my nieces, mom, and sister will be attending to learn about and promote tolerance.
The youth are our future and these pastor’s views are “old school” at best and hateful at worst.

I have an idea. The local churches could take up all of the story hours and read to the children. There would not be any hours left for drag queens to read.
