Florida’s Hallandale Beach City Commissioner Anabelle Lima-Taub recently called for the removal of U.S. Representative Rashida Tlaib, a Michigan Democrat, with a petition on Facebook saying, “a Hamas-loving anti-Semite has no place in government!” and calling her a “danger.”
Commissioner Lima-Taub is right about Rep. Tlaib, she is a danger, and she is a Hamas-loving anti-Semite.
Tlaib supports anti-Israel boycotts. She also defended former CNN contributor Marc Lamont Hill after he was fired for calling for the elimination of Israel and endorsing violence against Jews.
What’s more, Tlaib recently trotted out the old trope about American Jews having “dual loyalty,” a particularly ironic charge for Tlaib to make, given that she once wrapped herself in a Palestinian flag, and has vowed to “be a voice” for her relatives in the West Bank and declared that her “passion for justice is rooted in my beautiful Palestine.”
Tlaib openly associates with anti-Israel extremists, such as Abbas Hamideh, who heads a “right of return” advocacy group — and has equated Zionism to Nazism and called Israel a “terrorist entity.” Abbas Hamideh was invited to and attended a Detroit swearing-in reception and dinner party for Rep. Tlaib, where he posed with her for a photograph. A picture that reminded us a lot of the infamous photograph of Roselyn Carter posing with serial pedophile murdered John Wayne Gacy.
And her photograph with Hamideh was not just a one-off mistake.
Tlaib was also featured at this year’s Islamic Society of North America’s (ISNA) annual conference alongside numerous radical figures, including individuals who have defended terrorist groups, openly called for violence against Israel, and pushed for extreme punishments for homosexuals.
At the ISNA Tlaib was part of a session titled, “Unapologetically Muslim,” on a panel that also included anti-Israel activist Linda Sarsour, who warned Muslims during the panel against “humanizing” Israelis, according to audio published by the Algemeiner.
Tlaib was a keynote speaker at one of Detroit’s largest Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) rallies in 2014, long before her Congressional bid. The rally drew tens of thousands chanting “Free Palestine” while waving Palestinian flags. Also speaking at the event was Dawud Walid, who heads up the Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and once said, “Who are those that incur the wrath of Allah? They are the Jews, they are the Jews.”
Indeed, Ms. Tlaib makes no effort to hide her associations with Muslim terrorist organizations, such as Hamas and Hezbollah. Tlaib has also expressed sympathy for terrorist and murderer Rasmea Odeh on Twitter. Those associations might lead any sane person who knows those organizations and their adherents to reasonably wonder if Tlaib shares their views on jihad and the martyrdom attacks on Israel and the United States that are the hallmarks of their brand of warfare.
Our friend Christopher Holton of the Center for Security Policy writes that WorldTribune.com and the Washington Free Beacon both reported Tlaib, failed to disclose that she was paid $85,000 by a George Soros front group for a “Leadership in Government Fellowship.”
Holton reports Tlaib disclosed other sources of income, raising suspicions that she intentionally attempted to conceal her ties to the controversial tycoon who has spent a fortune building what we call the Red – Green Axis, the alliance between radical Leftists and radical Muslims.
As Anabelle Lima-Taub is quickly learning, politics in America is rapidly becoming a Sharia-compliant jurisdiction where any criticism of Islam or Muslims is considered blasphemy and makes one subject to the political death penalty, if not – as the Koran demands – the literal death penalty.
Hallandale Beach City Commissioner Anabelle Lima-Taub was right about Representative Rashida Tlaib, she is a Hamas-loving anti-Semite and she is a danger to constitutional liberty. The Hallandale Beach City Commission office phone number is (954) 457-1468, we urge CHQ friends and readers to call Commissioner Lima-Taub and tell her not to back down or apologize for telling the truth.
