Movies to Watch This Weekend


Official Secrets:

In 2003, British intelligence specialist Katharine Gun (Keira Knightley) gets a memo from the NSA detailing how Great Britain is helping America gather compromising information of U.N. Security Council members so they will vote in favor of the Iraq War. Trying to avoid seeing a war happen, Gun defies her government and releases the memo to the press.

Rotten Tomatoes movie critics have given this action movie a 76 percent. This movie came out Friday.

Don’t Let Go:

This movie focuses on Detective Jack Radcliff (David Oyelowo) who gets a phone call from his murdered niece. Upon getting the call, the detective and his niece, Ashley (Storm Reid) work together through time to prevent her murder from even happening.

Movie critics and fans completely disagree with the rating for this action movie. Rotten Tomatoes movie critics gave this film a 44 percent while fans gave it a 78. This movie appeared in theaters Friday.

The Fanatic:

Moose (John Travolta) is crazy about his favorite movie star Hunter Dunbar (Devon Sawa). He was hoping to meet Dunbar, but was cheated out of the opportunity. Upset, Moose deploys the help of a celebrity photographer who helps him track down Dunbar’s home. Soon, as Moose’s craziness becomes dangerous, the celebrity action star is in terrible danger.

Rotten Tomatoes movie critics have given this movie an abysmal 19 percent rating. This movie released nationwide Friday.
