Carmichael: Adam Schiff is Now the Grand Dragon of the ‘Coup Clux Clan’

 

On Friday’s Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 am to 8:00 – host Leahy was joined in studio by Crom Carmichael to discuss the recent developments on the impeachment coup going on in Washington, D.C.

During the segment, Carmichael gave the impeachment proceeding’s current Democrat leading man House Intelligence Committee chairman, Adam Schiff a new nickname, calling him the grand dragon of the Coup Clux Clan. The men joked about the name and how it’s fitting for Schiff and the Democrats as they continue to see their key witness ‘testimonies’ fall apart.

Leahy: Crom what do you make of all this craziness up there in Washington?

Carmichael: Well a lot of the information that’s coming out now is that the whistleblower actually was participating in a predetermined plot to.

Leahy: You mean like a coup?

Carmichael: Yeah, like a coup. And the top person is Adam Schiff in this whole thing. He and John Brennan.

Leahy: Former CIA guy. Who apparently was like a mentor to this whistleblower.

Carmichael: Yes. As was he worked for this whistleblower who’s Eric Ciaramella. We know his name. And we know that he’s a partisan Democrat. But Adam Schiff is the head of all this. And so I’ve come up with a term that I’d like to use for Adam Schiff.

Leahy: Can we use it?

Carmichael: Adam Schiff is the grand dragon of the coup. The Coup Clux Clan.

Leahy: Oh! Wait wait wait.

Carmichael: Not the Ku, but the coup.

Leahy: Crom! Crom!

Carmichael: You like that?

Leahy: That’s fantastic! Oh, hold on.

Carmichael: And he’s the grand dragon. I made that up yesterday. I was actually thinking about it and now all they need to do is, you know that little white teepee (Leahy laughs) the grand dragon wears, [the late Democrat] Senator Byrd [D-WV] used to wear. Anyway, let’s just stick with Adam Schiff.

Leahy: I can’t let this pass. Crom. What a fantastic name for Adam Schiff. Let’s get this down. Adam Schiff is the grand dragon of the Coup Clux Clan.(Laughter)

Carmichael: So there’s just a group of them. There’s a clan in Washington who are determined to have a coup.

Leahy: By the way…

Carmichael: But what we’re learning about this whistleblower (Leahy laughs) and we’re learning about who he talked with and when he talked to them and all these other, we’re getting these bits of information. And the information appears as if this whole thing was similar to the Russia hoax in that it was contrived.

Leahy: Yeah.

Carmichael: And so I think that the Democrats and Pelosi are in a terrible position. And she deserves to be in a terrible position because she is a terrible person. But the position she’s now in is if she does bring articles of impeachment to the floor for a vote and the Democrats pass it on a party-line vote she then loses control of the narrative.

Because then it goes to the Senate where the Senate may very well hold hearings and may very well do so for months. Did you know the Senators who are campaigning for president must stay in Washington while the senate is considering whether or not to remove the president from office? Now that turns out to be good news for Hillary Clinton.

Because Hillary Clinton might decide she wants to run, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Cory Booker, and Kamala Harris will be all stuck in Washington listening to all this stuff about impeachment and the onion being unpeeled about how this all came about. You can’t make this stuff up. This is better than any novel. So I just find what’s going on now to be interesting but not surprising. This is what’s key. It’s not surprising.

Leahy: I want to get the spelling of this name of the new group that Adam Schiff is in charge of. Let me see if I have it right. Not the KKK, it’s all with a K. That’s the historical white supremacist that’s known as the Ku Klux Klan. This is spelled with a C. See if I got this spelling right. He is the grand dragon of the Coup Clux Clan. So it’s the CCC?

Carmichael: Yeah, it’s the CCC.

(Laughter)

Leahy: He is the grand dragon of the Coup Clux Clan.

Carmichael: If you want to write that in The Tennessee Star…

Leahy: It will be our top story tomorrow. (Laughs)

Carmichael: But we do need to find a little white hoodie and place it on Adam Schiff’s head.

Leahy: We have an illustrator now that we have accredited. The great illustrator who’s actually approached us and said they wanted to cover as a court illustrator the ongoing Roger Stone trial in Washington, D.C. So we’ve accredited this person. So we may reach out to them and see if we can get a Coup Clux Clan grand dragon outfit for Adam Schiff. (Laughs)

Carmichael: So Adam Schiff now is going to lose control and Bill Taylor’s star witness testimony has turned out…

Leahy: Bill Taylor is like a state department guy?

Carmichael: Yeah. So he’s kind of toast.

Leahy: What did he say, ‘I presumed…’

Carmichael: I read an article in the New York Times. His source was an article in the New York Times. I presumed that means this, that means that, and this means this. Here’s what’s really interesting about this whole thing. And this is fundamentally a policy difference between the old globalist state department people and Donald Trump wanting to put America first and Americans first.

And so this is a great example of the deep state of the bureaucracy, the giant Washington bureaucracy which believes that it is in charge of governing the country. And frankly was under Obama. And Obama liked it that way. He liked for the government to have these judges who worked for the departments, not for the judiciary.

Administrative judges and administrative courts where judges who were not answerable to anyone get to determine what the law is. That’s what’s been happening in Washington. And that’s what Trump is pushing back against. By the way, I don’t care if you’re liberal or conservative.

If you care about your own personal freedom and your own right to do those things that you want to do. As long as they’re legal and not hurting somebody else, there shouldn’t be people in Washington that are writing laws that don’t even go through the legislature and then affect you and force you to defend yourself for a law you didn’t even know existed. That never became law through the legislative process.

Leahy: Yeah. Well, it’s all about individual liberty if you’re a traditional American.

Carmichael: It’s fascinating to see because I’d always complained about the bureaucracy. Now you see this massive bureaucracy who is pushing back against a single individual who’s actually trying to change the relationship between the Washington bureaucracy and the rest of the country.

Leahy: To reclaim what the country is supposed to be about in the constitution.

Carmichael: Yeah. And so it’s interesting to watch that. So Bill Taylor is one of those. And then this other fellow.

Leahy: Sondland?

Carmichael: No.

Leahy: Vindman?

Carmichael: No, this is another guy, Gentry I think or somebody. They’re all now trying to say that Trump did such and such and I know that’s true because somebody else told me. Now what does for them is protect them against perjury. Because they’re not saying that they themselves were a party to it or heard it. They’re saying that they heard it from somebody else and everybody else is saying the same thing. So this whole thing is going to fall apart.

Leahy: Sophisticated political disinformation that’s got a limited life span.

 Carmichael: Yeah.

Leahy: Well, Crom. I must tip my hat to you. That is probably one of the best phrases I’ve ever heard. That Adam Schiff, head of the House Intelligence Committee that’s leading this inquisition.  This impeachment inquiry. Violating the President’s due process right. Is now the grand dragon of the Coup Clux Clan. The CCC. Crom, I salute you.
