On Wednesday, U.S. Senate candidate Bill Hagerty announced he had received the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund’s endorsement to serve Tennessee.
Hagerty announced this in a press release.
“As a Christian conservative who is 100 percent pro-life, I am honored and humbled that Susan B. Anthony List joins President Donald Trump in endorsing me,” Hagerty said.
“As the radical liberals look to implement their socialist agenda, which includes taxpayer-funded abortions, now more than ever we need conservative leaders in the Senate to protect our unborn children. I have always said abortion takes a human life, and we must do everything we can to be a strong voice for the voiceless. I will stand up to end taxpayer-funded abortions and to defund Planned Parenthood once and for all.”

As The Tennessee Star reported last week, Hagerty announced the Veterans for Hagerty coalition.
The coalition includes more than 1,200 Tennessee veterans from all branches of the military who strongly support Hagerty for U.S. Senate. Hagerty is running to replace the retiring U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN).
“Our nation’s veterans have sacrificed so much to guarantee our freedoms, and it is critical that they are fully supported,” Hagerty said in a press release on his campaign’s website.
“As your next Senator, I will continue to work alongside President Trump to ensure our veterans are equipped with the tools they need to transition successfully into civilian life. This coalition represents some of Tennessee’s best, who have fought bravely for our freedoms, and I am honored to have them on Team Hagerty.”
