He also advised the Trump administration to stick to digital rallies and position the President’s recovery as the recovery for America.

Fredericks: All right, Steven Bannon is with us. That is a great clip man. It’s really good. Tell us about your time on Showtime and how that all went down Steve.
Bannon: Well, John Heilemann, we took on debate night we actually went back to Hofstra, which was President Trump’s first debate ever with Hillary Clinton. And we went back to Hofstra and then talked about the debate. And it’s live during the debate. Then and afterward we talk about what’s going to happen. I think what’s most interesting, this show is a huge show, especially with progressives.
I think it’s got a two million-person audience every Sunday night. You know beloved by the progressive left and John is a stalwart on MSNBC. Really one of the top Trump haters. And this all came as kind of news to them. They admitted they’re traumatized by the pandemic. And they are all voting by mail. But to really know that we’ve set up for this fight, and we’re not going to back down and after Trump wins the presidency on November 3rd.
And that people prepared to, and it was just serendipity when The Wall Street Journal last night popped almost at the same time that this the show played. This huge article about how both sides have armed, you know up-armored now on lawyers and it really started with a bunch of Republican lawyers from New York, top lawyers who are going to be distributed throughout the country to both do poll watching and to be in the counting rooms.
So if you watch, if you listen to John Fredericks Radio, or if you listen to, or watch, War Room Pandemic, we’ve been talking about this almost for three months. And in excruciating detail for over two-and-a-half months with Bill McGinley and other lawyers. This all comes as like a big reveal to certain people on the left. Although they’re the ones that are driving it. Some of the comments on that clip we’re like, what is he talking about?
The one thing I didn’t have time to be precise on was, you know, a lot of the comments on this was “Ohh if you get the House, then forget Nancy Pelosi” when they don’t realize it’s a state-by-state vote on state delegations. And in fact, Virginia is key to this because right now it’s 26 to 23-1. The commonwealth of Pennsylvania being split. But there’s a scenario that you could have 26 to really 19 or 20 to five state delegations that could actually split. In fact, Virginia is one of the ones that people are very focused on. Nancy Pelosi understands what’s going on so she’s focused.
But here’s the thing, War Room Pandemic was launched with the John Frederick Radio Network. And that’s how we launched War Room Impeachment. And this is you know, we try to be cutting edge. We try to get you the signal, not the noise, and tomorrow’s news today. And we’ve done this for months now, and I think the Trump base and army of Trump is a 100 percent on top and knows what the mission is right in today.
I think you’ll see the President of the United States either today or tomorrow. But I think if the doctor says, okay, I think maybe today, walk out of Walter Reed like a warrior and say hey, I fully understand what this CCP virus is. And you know might be the same turnaround as the country. I was in New York and have been in New York most of the time over the last couple weeks. And DeBlasio shut down more districts yesterday. New York is literally a ghost town.
I think a lot of Democrats are saying we just can’t continue to do this, we’ll destroy the country’s balance sheet, we’ll destroy the economy. The second and third order, you know impacts. What President Trump was talking about at the debate are going to come to fruition. So the recovery of America, I think is personified in the recovery of President Trump. And that’s why I hope you know my strong advice is the focus. Just like after Billy Bush.
We just get very focused. It’s all about closing the deal. No games and no nonsense. And let’s just get on with it. And I think you’ve seen with Jason Miller out there, with Rudy being out and there Bill Stephien is fantastic. He’s clearly got the virus right now. So you had the reorder of the weekend I think a little bit. I think you’ll see you know people this Operation MAGA is brilliant.
The surrogates all the way from Don Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle, the vice president, and you know the John Frederick’s of the world world will be deployed. My recommendation is the president should digitally do what I’m doing on the tour to save America is just do it digitally. And you can do a couple of days instead of getting on the plane and flying around. I know he wants to do rallies. But right now it’s about it’s about touching as many voters as possible. And I think the digital aspect of this gives you a lot of opportunities to do that.
Fredericks: So would you advise the president not to do rallies for a while or to get back out there? Or as soon as he’s off of quarantine, which I know he’s anxious to do.
Bannon: I love the rallies. Look obviously the rallies are central to the Trump movement. However, you know, we got what 30 days. It’s now touching as many people as possible. Also, the media just goes out of its way not to cover the rallies. I mean you’ve got America’s Voice and One American News Network and now Fox doesn’t even cover the entire rally now.
They’re doing statements and doing things digitally and coming out and each one’s different to get a different angle toward the media’s gonna be forced to cover it. What I think you do now is forced the media to cover it. It’s kind of like a time when I took over and Jared and I came up with the idea of going to Mexico. You got to force the media to cover certain things.
So I think the most important thing now is touching as many people as possible with the message that his recovery is America’s recovery. Go back to the debate. I’m in the camp that I think if he had just let Biden finish, it’s Biden’s plan on America and the pandemic is just not feasible. You know. We take the pandemic very seriously at War Room Pandemic. And I think this weekend showed people why we take it seriously and we know very little about it.
It’s the CCP virus. Dr. Yan said it. You saw the president on Friday was a little touch and go there for a while. They hit him with a pretty serious cocktail. That being the case, the alternative that Biden says, I’m going to just follow the science, well we don’t live in a world of that kind of infection. Absolutely you have to listen to the scientists.
But in a logical way, you need to understand that you have to smartly and safely and think still rapidly open the economy by doing targeting interventions on co-morbidities. And focusing on the minority communities. I think Trump has a plan for that. It should be articulated and hammered. And compare the alternative to Biden essentially saying, I just want to stay in my basement eating Gerber’s twice a day and Jill telling me I’m ok. It just doesn’t work. (Fredericks chuckles) I would make that contrast. I don’t think he needs to be on a plane. I love rallies, but I think for right now or the next week or so you’ve got amazing surrogates.
