Georgia Republican Party Chairman David Shafer is reporting Democratic activists that invite temporary voters for the general runoff election. The chairman appeared on The John Fredericks Radio Show to discuss his role in current investigations concerning election integrity.

“Well, we are following up on Facebook posts [inviting individuals to establish temporary residency] and we’re reporting them to the appropriate authorities.”

Unlike some Republican legislators, Shafer asserted that holding a special legislative session to modify minimum residency requirements wouldn’t be the better option for election integrity.

“I don’t know that a change in law is required so much as that enforcement is required.”

Shafer also shared the story behind his viral tweets reporting voting irregularities.

“The tabulation center announced they were closing at 10:30 [pm] and would resume counting at 8:30 [pm]. They packed up all their machines. At midnight, we saw a news broadcast that they’d resumed counting the ballots. Our poll watchers rushed back to the State Farm Arena around 1:30 in the morning. A small group of people, about five, had resumed scanning thousands of ballots.”

Additionally, Shafer explained that the reports of wrongful limitations on poll watchers, as well as masses of duplicate ballots created without lawful oversight, have cast heavy doubt on the entire electoral process.

“One of the arguments the mainstream media is making is that there’s no evidence of any wrongdoing – because everything’s been done in secret. They say, ‘You can’t prove any fraud because you weren’t there.’ Well, yes that’s true, they started counting ballots without us there, after they’d sent us home. If this behavior is not punished, then it will continue forever.”

Shafer finished the segment by expressing confidence in the upcoming election.

“The Republicans haven’t lost a runoff election since 1992. We are going to reelect David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler in 2021.”
