Arizona Sen. Wendy Rogers (R-Prescott) launched a petition recently demanding the decertification of the 2020 election results in Arizona, based on preliminary results from the ballot audit in Maricopa County ordered by the Arizona state senate. The audit is looking at both the presidential race and the U.S. senate race, where Democrat Mark Kelly defeated incumbent Republican Martha McSally by a small margin. According to a tweet Friday evening from Rogers, the petition was at 36,302 signatures despite server issues forcing the site offline periodically. She is aiming for one million signatures.
My decertify petition is back up! We upgraded servers & it took a while for the IP address to update. Keep checking back if still having issues. We are up to 36,302 signatures – let's get it to 1 million! I will report the number during my TV interviews. https://t.co/VgClJjWTwn

The petition references former President Donald Trump’s July 15 statement about her and the Arizona election, “The highly respected State Senator Wendy Rogers said in a tweet the hearing today means we must decertify the election.” Trump referenced the 74,243 mail-in ballots that were found by auditors to have no record of ever being sent out, 18,000 voters who were scrubbed from the registration rolls after the election, and other discrepancies. Rogers told The Gateway Pundit that “the biggest data point that jumped out at all of us, was the fact that over 74,000 mail-in ballots occurred without any evidence of anything having been sent to them.”
In an interview with OAN on Friday, Rogers said she is not backing down on her efforts to expose fraud in the election. A former Air Force pilot, she asked, “Do you know what it’s like to have a C-141 that I used to pilot land with 200 Marines coming out of the back? You don’t want to be in the way.” She said it’s “noncompliance that these county supervisors have perpetrated on Arizonans.” The Maricopa County Supervisors have refused to comply with state senate subpoenas, only turning over much of the requested equipment and data after a court order. Maricopa County has set up a website with its side of the controversy, justthefacts.vote.
Rogers said other senators are “becoming increasingly outraged.” She said she’s spoken with people who worked on the audit who are “chomping at the bit” to speak to the press about what they found once their non-disclosure agreements expire. There were 2,000 volunteers who worked on the audit, many who would like to speak out.
Rogers suggested in a tweet on August 2 that the county supervisors and Dominion Voting Systems, which manufactures voting machines used in Maricopa County, should go to jail for refusing to comply with Senate subpoenas regarding the audit. “I would like to know if we have enough solitary confinement cells in Arizona available for the entire Maricopa Board of Supervisors and the execs at the fraud machine company. We are going to need a lot.” She tweeted again on August 5, “Arrests need to be made or we won’t have a country.” However, she admitted they don’t have the votes in the Senate to send them to jail for noncompliance. “We will find other means, we will hit them where it hurts.”

She said it will be another two to three weeks until the full results of the audit are put together and released. She said fellow Sen. Sonny Borrelli (R-Lake Havasu) filed an SB1487 investigation request on August 3 with Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich asking for an investigation of Maricopa County for noncompliance with the legislative subpoenas. Borrelli says the county has not turned over logins, routers, and logs related to the voting machines. Rogers said this is a way of “hitting them in the pocketbook.”
Rogers is also working on helping other parts of the country conduct investigations and audits. The Arizona Republican Party tweeted Friday night, “Inspired by the historic Arizona Audit, America’s Audit, Wisconsin legislators issued subpoenas for election materials from two counties.” Rogers believes that when “the fraud is finally exposed, Democrats will turn on Democrats.”
