Nashville Police Report Kidnapping, Carjackings, and Shooting in Recent Days

Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) have been plenty busy the past few days, due to several high-profile crimes, including a suspect who allegedly forced himself into another man’s car and kidnapped the man.

“Around 4 a.m. a 28-year-old victim was stopped at a red light on Haywood Lane near I-24 when he said the suspect entered the passenger side. The suspect held the victim and driver of the car at knifepoint,” MNPD officials said in a press release.

“The victim told detectives he was forced to drink an unknown substance that caused him to black out. When the victim woke up he found himself seated on the passenger side. The suspect had driven to a Shell gas station on Harding and Antioch Pike. The victim went inside and called police. The suspect was last seen walking away on Antioch Pike.”

MNPD officials said they are seeking a Hispanic man between 25-35-years-old who is around 5’10 and has a tattoo on his right hand.

In a separate case, MNPD officials said they arrested three juveniles — two females and one male — and charged them with multiple counts of aggravated robbery for their alleged involvement in last week’s spree of violent armed carjackings. The suspects committed the alleged car jackings on Hillsboro Road, Green Hills Village Drive, Division Street, Charlotte Avenue, and Adams Street between September 28 through October 1, according to a press release.

“On Saturday night, detectives assigned to the initiative spotted the white 2012 Nissan Altima that had been taken in the Green Hills Village Drive carjacking traveling on Gallatin Pike South. When officers activated their emergency equipment, four teens bailed from the car but were quickly apprehended. A pistol was recovered,” the press release said.

“Elijah Foster, 16, Na’Tydrea Boles, 17, and Jamia Shack, 17, are each charged in Juvenile Court with aggravated robbery. Their photos are being withheld pending lineups in similar cases. A fourth teen in the Altima, a 16-year-old female, is charged with joyriding.”

In a separate case, East Precinct detectives are asking for the community’s assistance in identifying the male and female. MNPD officials said in a press release that the pair are responsible for shooting a 51-year-old Nashvillian as he drove through an alley at the 2500 block of Gallatin Avenue. The victim has life-threatening wounds, according to the press release.

“Surveillance video shows the female standing in the alley as the victim’s car approaches. When the vehicle slowed, the male, who was hiding between parked cars, appeared. As the victim continued to drive, the male fired multiple shots from an AR-15 style rifle. The victim drove to nearby McClurkan Avenue. Responding officers used their trauma kits to provide him with emergency medical care before he was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital and rushed to surgery,” the press release said.

“During the barrage of rifle fire, students and staff at nearby Lincoln Tech welding school were outside on a brief break from class and ran for shelter. A bullet entered the building and struck an oxygen tank, causing it to explode. One student received lacerations to his face, neck and legs from the exploding tank. He was treated by medics at the scene. The two persons responsible for this are believed to be in their teens to early 20s. The female wore a black T-shirt with white writing on the back, black yoga-style pants, black and white athletic shoes, and a white COVID mask. The male wore a black hoodie, dark sweatpants and black slide sandals.”

  1. Comments about the Democrat Party are true and relevant. The Democrat Party is urging its Subversives who work remotely or otherwise to move to “Red States” for their Democrat vote.
it might not be PC but where Democrats get control crimes goes rampant and deadly.
I remember the old Nashville where it was safe.
Yes it is true Democrats in control means crime!

This is one aspect of the real pandemic spreading across this country! All the result of a government not doing it’s job or sticking it’s nose where it don’t belong!

Won’t be long before people start chanting FBL, and FJC, to go along with the FJB.

Tourists, welcome to the Detroit of the south. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable vacation…well kind of….

I’d like to thank previous Mayors, Democrat and Republican. Without your dedication to building up downtown while ignoring the inner city and suburbs, all this wouldn’t be possible.

  4. What?

Nashville is Democrat Party controlled. What did anyone expect? This is the NEW normal.

    Enjoy!

Look all over The USA, increased crime and corruption is synonymous with Democrat Party controlled cities, as they grow in size.

Examine the streets of Iran, back in the 1970s. Women walking without men, women wearing knee-high & mini skirts, even displaying hairdos. How long did it take for THAT country to change so radically, from THAT Iran, into the country it is today?

The same thing, of a different sort, is happening here, now. We are in the middle of a similar radical change. Where the rules will change more, for those without. Those WITH will always be able to buy their way. Worst case, at least buy “their” way… away.

PS: That’s what the gold, and bars of silver, and straps of cash, in the safe, are for. That’s what the untouchable by US govt. Panama account is for. That’s what the condo in another country is for. That’s why my messages, like this, are always sent from a grey web account. LOL! On the outside, I am a good little taxpayer, who buys things, and “contributes”. I’m… a Normie.

    PPS: Mua, ha, ha.
