CROM CARMICHAEL:
Michael, I watched the State of the Union last night, and the first part of it was Biden saying nice things about Ukraine and how brave they were, but he didn’t offer a single thing in terms of actual help that would help them in their fight against the invaders.
This morning we hear that China has offered to negotiate in between. And Biden may be just foolish enough to accept that because, let’s remember, his family has accepted money from China, Ukraine, and Russia. He will let the three thugs negotiate with each other. And the negotiation really isn’t between Russia and Ukraine.
The negotiation is for Europe to turn back on the Russian economy and for the U.S. to capitulate and turn back on the Russian economy. And after Russia has taken Ukraine, they go back to business as usual.
Essentially, if you just read between the lines, that’s essentially what Biden said last night. But Zelensky may very well not capitulate. He may actually die fighting. And if he does and then Biden just says, well, too bad, so sad.
Two-thirds of the people in the United States are proud people. And they don’t think, if you’re walking down the street and some little old lady is getting mugged by somebody and you have five of you and there’s a mugger, they don’t think that the wise thing to do is just walk by and let the person beat up the mugger.
Let the mugger beat up a little old lady. But Biden would. Biden might even help the mugger beat up the little old lady, especially if the little old lady was wearing a Trump hat.
(Chuckles) So we can talk more about it. I wanted to spend my commentary on the international part, and then we can talk about the address itself on domestic.
