Kevin Marino Cabrera Secures Endorsement from Former President Trump for the Miami-Dade County Commission

Former President Donald Trump announced that he is endorsing Kevin Marino Cabrera for the Miami-Dade County Commission in District 6.

“Kevin Cabrera will be a great member of the Miami-Dade County Commission, representing District 6,” Trump said in a statement. “In 2020, when I won Florida’s 29 electoral votes by a historic margin, Kevin was my State Director. Kevin is a brave and smart America First Conservative who supports Low Taxes and fewer Regulations on small business, which means more jobs! He is strong on the Second Amendment and will work hard to defend our men and women in Law Enforcement. Kevin wants Secure Borders and will fight for Safe and Secure Elections—the 2020 Election was Rigged and Stolen, and we are getting to the bottom of it—and we can never let it happen again. Kevin Cabrera will represent his community with honor, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”

“I am honored and grateful to receive the endorsement and backing of President Trump,” Cabrera said in a statement following Trump’s endorsement. “President Trump has led the way on many important conservative issues, including lowering taxes and keeping our communities safe.”

District 6 includes Miami Springs, West Miami, parts of Miami, Coral Gables and Hialeah, and a portion of the county’s unincorporated area, including Miami International Airport. If elected, Cabrera will take over for current Miami-Dade Commissioner Rebeca Sosa who must leave office this year due to term limits. Sosa has endorsed candidate Jorge Fors Jr. to fill her position.

Voters will get to choose their next county commissioner at the August 23rd primary followed by the November 8th general election. If none of the candidates receive more than 50% of the primary vote, the top two finishers face off in a runoff on Election Day in November.
