Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association Endorses Senator Jack Johnson for Re-Election

The Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association (TPFFA) endorsed Republican State Senator Jack Johnson for re-election in Senate District 27, the group announced Wednesday in a press release.

Senator Jackson currently serves Senate District 23, however, due to redistricting, he is now running under District 27.

“Senator Johnson is a steady, thoughtful leader in the Tennessee legislature and we appreciate his commitment to issues that are important to firefighters,” TPFFA President Matthew Tomek said in a statement. “He always maintains an open-door policy and we know that his support of first responders makes a difference. It is clear that Senator Johnson not only respects the service and sacrifices that our members make on a daily basis, he also turns that into action to enact the policies we need to protect the health and safety of fire  fighters across the state.”

“I’m grateful to have the Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association’s endorsement,” Senator Jack Johnson released in a statement. “TPFFA is integral to providing fire fighters across the state with needed resources while promoting legislation that helps the emergency response community. Our fire fighters selflessly enter dangerous, high-risk and often traumatic situations day in and day out to keep us safe, and I will continue to support them in any way I can in the General Assembly.”

In the Tennessee General Assembly, Senator Johnson serves on four committees: Calendar, Commerce and Labor, Ethics, and the Finance, Ways and Means committee.

According to Johnson, he is running for re-election in order to fight for pro-life policies, Second Amendment rights, and economic growth in Tennessee.

“I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished from a conservative standpoint in Tennessee in recent years. I think our record of conservative achievement is pretty remarkable, but there is more work to do, and I’d like another four years to continue that work,” Johnson recently said while speaking to The Tennessee Conservative.

The general election primary will take place on August 4th with the general election occurring on November 8th.

That is a great endorsement Jack! How about your support and vote you casted for the high Tennessee gas tax with RINO Haslum? Why did you and RINO Beth Harwell delay giving parent’s a choice with their children’s education? What is your purpose to seek re election you’ve been in office for 16 years, isn’t it time to term limit yourself? Will you support legislation putting term limit on the ballot 2024? Maybe the Tennessee Star will ask the hard questions to Politicians and support Term limits!
