Williamson County Moms for Liberty Chapter Hosting ‘Gender 101’ Course

Moms for Liberty of Williamson County, a grassroots group of conservative mothers who battle against Critical Race Theory (CRT) and other left-wing ideologies in schools, will be hosting a seminar on gender ideology.

“GENDER101 is part of the chapter’s ‘2022-2023 School Year for Parents’ initiative, focusing on one critical issue in Williamson County Schools per month,” the group said in a release. “The November focus is Gender Ideology, and GENDER101 offers parents a ‘crash course’ on this topic.”

Moms for Liberty has chapters nationwide.

“By the numbers, there is an ‘epidemic’ of transgenderism amongst pre-teen and teenage adolescent [sic],” according to the release. “In the last ten years, the number of pre-teen and teenage girls claiming gender dysphoria has jumped 4400% in the United Kingdom and experts suspect similar numbers in the United States. Why is that? How do these decisions affect these minors and their families in the long term?”

The event will feature Chris Elston, who the group says has spoken to millions “about the dangers of gender ideology — specifically the practice of giving children harmful puberty-blocking drugs, cross-sex hormones and surgeries.”

Dr. Colin Wright, an evolutionary biologist,  journalist, and founding editor of a blog called Reality’s Last Stand, will also be featured at the event.

“Gender Ideology is present in Williamson County Schools, as evidenced by its usage of preferred pronouns as early as middle school and the emergence of multiple ‘student-led’ clubs, the latest one being a ‘polyamorous club‘ at Grassland Middle School, which has drawn much ire from parents,” according to the group.

The course will be followed by GENDER102, which Moms for Liberty says will be conducted via Zoom by Florida mother January Littlejohn, whose daughter was allegedly transitioned without Littlejohn’s consent.

In October, the group hosted a similar event to teach parents about woke curriculum in schools, called Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

Following that event, Robin Steenman, the founder of the Williamson County chapter of Moms for Liberty, joined The Star News Network’s Editor-in-Chief and CEO Michael Patrick Leahy on his radio program,  The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy.

“And so social emotional learning is really a nice-sounding term for the Trojan horse in our schools. In fact, it’s been described as the railroad tracks upon which every ideology, including Critical Race Theory and gender ideology and critical queer theory, and critical feminist theory and all of the theories are brought into our school,” Steenman told Leahy.

“So that’s why we’ve got the 2022-2023 school year for parents in which we’re really trying to take the overwhelming breadth of issues that parents face and break it down just one by one, one month at a time,” she said. “And we picked SEL first for the first real event that we’re putting on this year because it’s just so important. It really does facilitate all the others.”

A bigoted, hateful, valueless coward. I hope they take her children away from her hateful, ignorant, arrogant, selfish, un-American and immoral self. Garbage, masquerading.

There is no epidemic of transgenderism. The is an epidemic of mental illness among our children and the parents that are “raising” them.

Karen – You have the right. And I might add the officials – school, medical, whoever – that facilitate and encourage this insanity.
