American Troops Must be Deployed to Ukraine or Russia Won’t be Deterred, Insists Zelensky: Report

Breitbart   Intensifying talk in European capitals about sending peacekeepers to Ukraine’s front lines is welcome but it won’t work without American boots on the ground, President Volodymyr Zelensky says at the Davos World Economic Forum meeting. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has been at Davos this week drumming up support, but also attempting to ingratiate himself with President Donald Trump by acting as a conduit for America First messaging to European leaders. Nevertheless, Bloomberg reports the Ukrainian “bristled” at the suggestion the United States wouldn’t put boots on the ground in Ukraine to deter further Russian aggression. The conversation follows months of talk in Europe, particularly in capitals like Paris, Warsaw, and London, about what happens when the now apparently inevitable ceasefire comes. Preventing Russia from simply using a pause as a chance to catch its breath, re-arm, and then attack anew after a short break is the main concern and European leaders have told President Zelensky they would want to consider deploying their own armies to Ukraine to prevent Russia from renewing hostilities. Arizona’s $125 Million Film Subsidy Faces Legal Challenge Over Alleged Constitutional Violation

Movie shoot on location

Representing two taxpayers, the Goldwater Institute (GI) filed a lawsuit last week against the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) challenging the use of taxpayers’ money to provide subsidies to the movie industry. The Arizona Motion Picture Production Program (AMPPP) hands out up to $125 million annually to films made primarily in Arizona.

State Senator Wendy Rogers (R-Flagstaff), who voted against the bill that established the
AMPPP, expressed her support for the lawsuit to The Arizona Sun Times. “Government should not pick winners and losers,” she said. “Goldwater Institute is right in line with how President Trump is hearkening back to our country’s ethos, which is merit-based, market-driven awarding success to those who earn it on a level playing field… instead of according to who you know, but what you know. We’re done with elitist backroom deals crushing the middle class.”

Commentary: Trump Is Already Challenging the Public Health Industrial Complex

President Donald Trump

by Judson Phillips   The beloved holiday classic Planes, Trains, and Automobiles features one of the funniest scenes in movie history. John Candy and Steve Martin drive the wrong way down a highway, oblivious to the danger. When concerned drivers warn them that they are “going the wrong way,” they laugh and mock the onlookers — until they face a speeding Mack truck. The American people repeatedly warned the Biden administration that it was “going the wrong way,” but like Candy and Martin, it put the gas pedal to the floor instead of correcting course. On Inauguration Day, the American people grabbed the wheel of its government and began a course correction — and within hours of being sworn into the presidency, President Donald J. Trump issued new marching orders to every government agency, department, and bureau, steering the government in a new direction. Overnight, agencies with jurisdiction over our border transitioned from facilitating an invasion to being given the tools to end it. The Environmental Protection Agency shifted its focus from undermining energy producers to promoting balanced regulations encouraging innovation and job creation. Education policy pivoted from enforcing ideological agendas to emphasizing parental rights and local decision-making. Meanwhile, the Department of Justice…
