Eight of Tennessee’s nine members of the House of Representatives were sanctioned by Russia on Wednesday in response to the U.S. sanctioning members of the Russian Duma earlier this year.

In total, 398 members of Congress were listed in the release from Russia; however, some lawmakers were not included because the country took action against them previously.

Ohio Agencies Collecting Personal Protective Gear to Send to Ukraine

Ohio will begin collecting personal protective gear from local and state law enforcement agencies around the state to send to Ukraine amid Russia’s invasion of the country, according to Governor Mike DeWine.

Previously, DeWine surveyed law enforcement agencies to determine a rough estimate of materials that could be sent to the country. According to his numbers, the state may be able to collect roughly “75 ballistic and riot helmets and 840 pieces of body armor, including vests and plates.”

Restoration PAC, a conservative SuperPAC, is launching an ad campaign to educate Green Bay residents on the previous decision by city officials to accept outside funding to conduct elections, ahead of the city council race.

The Center for Tech and Civic Life is an organization partially funded by Mark Zuckerberg and gave the city of Green Bay $1.6 million to assist with the administration of their elections. The city used the funds for a host of priorities, including paying poll workers.
