Bongino Says FBI Looking at ‘A Number of Cases of Potential Public Corruption’

The FBI’s No. 2 official said Monday the agency had either reopened or shifted resources toward “a number of cases of potential public corruption,” including the leaked Supreme Court draft decision on abortion and an incident involving cocaine found at the White House during former President Biden’s term.

“Shortly after swearing in, [FBI Director Kash Patel] and I evaluated a number of cases of potential public corruption that, understandably, have garnered public interest,” Dan Bongino, the FBI’s deputy director, said in a post on social platform X.

“We made the decision to either re-open, or push additional resources and investigative attention, to these cases,” he added. “These cases are the DC pipe bombing investigation, the cocaine discovery at the prior administration’s White House, and the leak of the Supreme Court Dobbs case.”
