25 Tennessee Locations to Hold Anti-Trump Protest This Saturday

Twenty-five cities across Tennessee will participate in the “No Kings” protest on Saturday.

This nationwide protest is scheduled on Flag Day, when President Donald Trump is hosting a military parade to commemorate the Army’s 250th anniversary.

The Flag Day parade is also the same day as Trump’s 79th birthday.

Organizers of this protest say Saturday will be “a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration.”

“We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political positions, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies. They think they rule—but we are bigger than even their worst aspirations,” the organizers say.

These anti-Trump protest organizers claim the president is using this upcoming parade to “intimidate opponents and solidify his image as a strongman” on American taxpayer money.

“We won’t stand by while that happens,” they note.

Additionally, the organizers state the Trump administration and its enablers have used the federal government to enrich themselves.

“No Kings” protest organizers claim Trump has “indicated” he is going to run for a third term. However, Trump said last month he won’t run again.

“We’re standing together against the abuses of power, cruelty, and corruption. On June 14, we gather to remind President Trump and his enablers: America has No King!” the organizers say.

Indivisible, a progressive organization formed to resist Trump, is organizing this protest.

The organization claims Trump is a “symptom of a sick democracy, not its cause.”

In addition, Indivisible claims America faces two fundamental problems.

“First, our democracy was rigged from the start in favor of the white and wealthy. Second, in the last few decades, an alliance of white nationalists and the ultra-rich have been actively working to further undermine democracy and cement their hold on power permanently. That’s how we ended up with Trump,” its website says.

As of Friday, the “No Kings” protest has over 200 partners. Some of the partners include Planned Parenthood, the Human Rights Campaign, SEIU, and the ACLU. These protest partners have ties to George Soros’ Open Society Foundation. This foundation provides funding to numerous left-wing causes.

Indivisible organized the nationwide “Hands Off!” protest, which took place in April, to protest Trump and Elon Musk.

These “No Kings” protests in Tennessee are expected to draw big crowds. These protests will occur a day after around 100 people protested outside Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s court appearance in Nashville.

Abrego Garcia, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, is facing federal criminal charges for allegedly smuggling illegal immigrants throughout America. He has pleaded not guilty.

Gallatin TN should be ashamed for allowing such a disgusting protest at the court house steps! Guess none of these “protesters “ need to work but instead work at being disruptive and freeloaders!!

If we had a king, these protests wouldn’t be allowed.

Are they protesting the enforcement of the current immigration law? It was passed by Congress and signed into law by Bill Clinton in 1996. He deported 12 million illegal aliens. Was he King Bill? I don’t recall any protests then. …except maybe re: Elian Gonzalez back to Cuba. So how is Trump a king for enforcing that law?

In the previous administration, was it King Biden who flagrantly violated that law and allowed millions of illegal aliens to enter and stay?

Historically that’s an aspect of tyrannical behavior.

“It is also a habit of tyrants to prefer the company of aliens to that of citizens at table and in society; citizens, they feel, are enemies, but aliens will offer no opposition.”
