The Mission America Foundation, chaired by Aaron Spradlin, engages in search and rescue operations and many other efforts on the ground in the middle of hairy situations in order to save life and liberty from the modern-day slavery known as child and human trafficking.
This puts the individuals who work with them squarely in the physical crosshairs of murderous gangs, cartels, Chinese mafia, and corrupt politicians.
Intimidation tactics are used and one comes up close and personal with evil people who want to kill you.
A recent article in Daily Wire highlighted what these missions look like and an upcoming piece in another national outlet sheds even more light on the topic.
The Tennessee Faith and Freedom Coalition, also chaired by Aaron Spradlin and in the form of executive director Aaron Gulbransen, has participated in three such operations to date. Spradlin has been leading these missions for seven years.
To be clear, these operations are not for the faint of heart and we do not recommend you “try this at home.” Media has only been involved to shine a light, much in the manner that the movie Sound of Freedom has done for the problem overseas.
When you see the evils of trafficking and the dark underbelly of society up close it drastically raises the urgency of your advocacy. It helps you understand the problem to an even greater degree. In part, it gives you even greater skin in the game to ensure that your advocacy is effective.
The issue as a whole is vitally important but when you see it personally, it drastically impacts your life and your actions.
The fight to eradicate child and human trafficking is the most important one we can fathom. It is not a fight to score political points, like the fake and unconstitutional push for gun control from the Marxist Left.
It is not an issue we use to make 20-minute Instagram videos after we put on our eyeliner and then bloviate on.
We must destroy modern-day slavery. We must destroy it so that our communities, where our children sleep and play are safe. We must set the captives free.
There are those that would deny, enable, or make light of this effort. They are fools and enable evil.
We will never apologize for our fight to save children. We’ll never apologize to the Marxist Left or charlatans who say they are on the Right.
Matthew 18:6 says, “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
