The remarkable story of President Donald Trump is a powerful lesson for how we can achieve success in our own lives. Trump convinced America that it can be great again.
In this incredible moment in history, we are witnessing something much bigger than the opportunity to protect our borders, to enhance our economy or to preserve conservative values. Trump shows all of us, Democrat and Republican, that we are capable of greatness in our own lives.
That our will can make each of us unstoppable. The real lesson of watching Trump’s ascension to the presidency is that you can be great again.
It is perhaps Trump’s ability to teach us something about ourselves and the incredible power hidden in each of us that is the essence of his appeal. In his reelection as one of the most powerful presidents in history, there are lessons for each of us as to how we can become the best we can possibly be.
Trump has proven the power of the human will. He demonstrates how belief in yourself and a higher force, coupled with unending commitment to attaining your own goals, can be unstoppable.
Observations and principles gleaned from watching the election of 2024 can be the cornerstone of personal growth with one goal: Make You Great Again (MYGA).
A significant influence on Trump’s outlook is the philosophy of Norman Vincent Peale, who officiated at Trump’s first wedding and was his pastor in New York. In his seminal work, “The Power of Positive Thinking,” Peale emphasizes maintaining a positive mindset, visualizing success and rejecting negative thoughts.
Trump has mastered these principles, demonstrating an unwavering belief in his success and an ability to project confidence in the face of the most threatening challenges. His own self-help book, “The Art of the Deal” (published in 1987), emphasizes positivity, hard work and preparing for enemies’ efforts to take everything from you. Trump has taken these ideas to the next level — manifesting success with undeterrable belief in his purpose.
After Nov. 5th, everyone in the world can see the power of resilience, self-belief and an unrelenting commitment to a vision. The power of faith and the relentless pursuit of a goal. The power in you to become great.
MYGA stands for ideas Donald Trump has been advocating for years in his own books. These principles, as implemented by the president, demonstrate the incredible power of the human will. We can identify these principles and apply them to our own lives by analyzing Trump’s epic rise from the ashes of January 2021 to the White House in January 2025.
The cornerstone of MYGA are five principles:
1 — Visualize Success: Begin with a clear vision of what you want and picture yourself achieving these goals in the same way that President Trump never let go of the vision of himself back in the White House.
2 — Reject Negativity: Reject criticism that distracts from your vision. Incorporate lessons but do not let others’ assessment of your path get you down. See where their opinions are fake news and know for yourself how to improve and move forward. Trust those who love you.
3 — Make Difficulties Into Inspiration: See obstacles as opportunities. Use every challenge and setback as fuel to propel you forward. When Trump was faced with convictions and would-be assassins, he saw these moments as inspiration to never surrender, and we have to see our challenges the same way.
4 — Act With Unshakable Faith: Believe in your ability and that you are here for a reason. Life has meaning. Strengthen your mind and your faith. Trump was willing to declare that God saved him to save America. We need to find that faith in ourselves to become unstoppable in our own lives.
5 — Keep Fighting: When faced with adversity, remember to keep pushing forward, knowing that nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Despite facing unprecedented legal battles, public scrutiny, and even multiple assassination attempts, Trump remains resolute, transforming each setback into fuel for his comeback. His unwavering confidence and ability to stay focused on his goals reminds us that with determination, any obstacle can be overcome.
Throughout the campaign, Trump embodied resilience under pressure. Facing relentless challenges, he urged his followers with a powerful message: “fight, fight, fight.” His ability to inspire others to push through adversity, no matter how daunting, became a rallying cry for the MAGA movement.
His unshakable stance in the face of threats, both personal and political, reinforces his message that success is possible for those willing to stand strong and persevere in their own lives.
Make Yourself Great Again (MYGA) is a movement to better yourself inspired by a key player on the stage of history, President Donald Trump. He has provided a roadmap to personal strength, confidence, and the ability to rise above adversity. By focusing on growth and self-belief, we too can all strive to achieve our goals and to overcome any obstacle.
With unstoppable will we can be better parents, spouses, neighbors and Americans. We can be stronger, healthier and closer to achieving our purpose for being alive.
In the words of Rabbi Shimon Green, we cannot change the world until we change ourselves. The real way America will indeed be great again is if we work on ourselves, as President Trump takes care of our country. In the words of President John F. Kennedy, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country” — and by implication, yourself.
MYGA is a call to everyone to create a future defined by choosing to harness our potential to be the best we can possibly be — from there, the possibilities are endless.

Great article! No truer words spoken! This is what I was taught by my Parents and Grandparents, and has proven to be true beyond anything.
