Pete Hegseth, Fox News host and Tennessee resident, will serve as the keynote speaker at the Tennessee Firearms Association Legislative Action Committee’s (TFALAC) annual convention in September, the organization announced Monday.

TFALAC’s 2024 convention – its main annual fundraiser – will be held at the Farm Bureau Expo Center at the Wilson County Fairgrounds in Lebanon on Saturday, September 7.

Hegseth co-hosts Fox & Friends Weekend on Fox News and programs on the streaming service Fox Nation. He is also a #1 New York Times bestselling author.

In addition to his television and writing career, Hegseth is also an Army combat veteran.

Hegseth served as an Infantry Officer in the Army National Guard, serving in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Guantanamo Bay. He holds two Bronze Stars and a Combat Infantryman’s Badge for his time in Iraq and Afghanistan. He also held the position of CEO for Concerned Veterans for America—a nationwide veterans advocacy organization.

Other speakers scheduled to speak at the annual convention include Tennessee U.S. Representative Mark Green, who chairs the House Homeland Security Committee, and Erich Pratt, the Senior Vice President of Gun Owners of America.

General admission tickets for the convention are $100 per person. TFALAC is currently offering an early bird special, with tickets priced at $85.

Revenue generated by the convention is used by TFALAC to “defeat gun control proposals, support Second Amendment candidates for the State Legislature and to support pro-Second Amendment legislation.”

Lee Beaman is the prime sponsor of the 2024 convention, which is also sponsored by congressman Green, Rusty Oak Armory, and the US Concealed Carry Association.

TFALAC is currently searching for vendors who are interested in attending the event. Vendors that pay $550 are able to set up a single table to promote and sell their merchandise at the convention and receive two general admission tickets to the event.
