Nashville Pride Sponsors Include Tennessee Titans, Vanderbilt, Other Huge Name Brands

Nashville Pride, which has several events upcoming during June, is sponsored by big-name brands, including the Tennessee Titans, Vanderbilt Health, and others, according to its website.

Bridgestone and Nissan, who have huge presences in Tennessee, are listed on the site as “presenting partners” of this year’s pride activities. Nissan also sponsors the Tennessee Titans football stadium.

Postmates, the food delivery service, is listed as an “entertainment partner” for Nashville Pride, while Amazon, which has a facility in Nashville, is listed as a “sustainability partner.”

Other sponsors include:

  • Jack Daniels
  • Tito’s Vodka
  • AllianceBernstein
  • Dollar General
  • Journeys (a “VIP partner”)
  • The Nashville Convention and Visitors Corporation

The group also lists its official hotel partner as W Nashville, a Marriott property.

Media sponsors include WSMV, The Nashvillian, and Connect Media Group.

Mars Petcare, Total Wine, and Cracker Barrel, among others, are listed as “friends.” Kroger, The Nashville Predators, Papa John’s Pizza, T-Mobile, Belk, The Tennessee Valley Authority, Truist, and Planned Parenthood are listed as “supporters.”

Meanwhile, several top brands nationwide have drawn the ire of conservatives in recent weeks.

Anheuser-Busch, which owns Bud Light, has lost billions after featuring a drag performer called Dylan Mulvaney on some of its cans. Target was the subject of backlash after shoppers discovered that the company was selling LGBT-themed youth clothing.

Nashville Pride kicks off its “pride month” festivities Saturday with an event called “Bath & Body,” which features drag queen Justin Dwayne Lee Johnson, who goes by the stage name Alyssa Edwards.

An event called “Country Pride” will be held Saturday night, which benefits The Trevor Project.

That organization, which bills itself as an online youth LGBT support organization, has faced immense scrutiny for introducing children to adult perversions.

June 7 will feature a concert for “love and acceptance.”

“GLAAD, the world’s largest LGBTQ media advocacy organization, and groundbreaking country music artist Ty Herndon announce the return of the Concert For Love & Acceptance, set to take place Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville on the eve of CMA Fest,” Nashville Pride’s website says. “Maddie & Tae, Terri Clark, Pam Tills, Desmond Child, Wendy Moten, Billy Gilman, Shelly Fairchild, and Justin Fabus are set to perform. The event will benefit GLAAD and Ty Herndon’s Foundation For Love & Acceptance.”

“Pride Weekend” kicks off on June 22, with a party at the Sheraton Grand Hotel.

That is followed up by the city’s office Pride Parade on June 24.

Sadly, Nashville is more concerned with kissing up to freaks and perverts than to stopping crime and harm to its citizens.

I will not stop in Nashville when traveling and take every effort to bypass the Hell Hole that
    Nashville has become.

Nashville’s Aug 13 is getting an early start.
Nashville used to be a nice town. What happened? Why is this happening?

A 4-year-old girl was in critical condition after being shot while she was riding with other children in the back seat of a car that was deliberately attacked, Metro Nashville Police said in a statement.

The attack happened Tuesday evening in Nashville, as three young children, including the 4-year-old, sat in the back seat of a black sedan. The driver, a 22-year-old man, was shot in the arm, the statement said.

The two other children, 2-year-old twins, were not seriously hurt, the statement said. A photo released by police shows one side of the car peppered with bullet holes, and at least two tires shot out.

Thank goodness highway planners gave us I-840 recently. I-40 East-West Travelers can avoid the whole Nashville mess now and take I-840 by-pass. Might keep them from getting shot.

Excellent and insightful comments by “levelheadedconservative”. It does seem articles are released to grab readership while larger discussions, like yours, are not allowed enough time on line. Frankly, on many occasions I find the respondent comments more thought provoking than the article.

Time to “Bud Light” all these jokers.

I agree with you! We do need people who are determined to reverse major policies and dramatically change the status quo. Hopefully, we can find them in time to save our democratic republic. The left is fighting an all out war and our very existence as a free nation (though we have moved far from that as well) is in the balance. We need to get the pendulum to swing back the other way – and quick!
As for conservatism as a concept/naming convention, we have settled largely upon two terms, liberal and conservative in our political discourse – with the Libertarian nomenclature tossed in from time to time. In my opinion, this is very two dimensional thinking that largely serves the purpose of dividing the nation.
Sadly, when the leadership of one of the two major parties betrays the principles they supposedly espouse it alienates voters and perpetuates the incessant uniparty (swamp) result.

the TVA? aren’t they government funded or controlled to a degree? why are our tax dollars probably going to this?

TN – You are spot on. The leftist agenda of 2000 is now the “conservative” agenda. We surrender all the while and hardly ever make a real effort to reverse the direction headed farther and farther toward chaos and anarchy. One need look no farther than the national debt or the lack of illegal immigration control. The swamp is all around us – local, state and federal.

At what point of the pendulum swing does “having our voices heard and being treated as equals to the rest of society” go past that point and start being “we will coerce, manipulate, or force our views on the will of all people in order to normalize our behaviors and marginalize any who view it differently”?

    1) It’s not a pendulum swing if it only goes in one direction.
    2) That point was passed years ago.

This is the problem with official Conservatism. They conserve nothing. They mostly accept all leftist talking points, just at a slower pace (after the entertainment, media, and educational industries have pounded into their, or their children’s, heads for a couple decades). When Conservatives get in power, they don’t reverse anything, they just slow down the constant march left for a short time. Most Conservatives today believe and repeat the lies made up and promoted by the leftists of 30-60 years ago. And the same applies to Conservatives of previous decades.
Evil will not be tolerant of Good because Good was kind enough to give equal rights under the law to Evil. Evil wants to reign supreme, then corrupt everything else. Our ancestors knew this. Now we are witnessing first hand what happens after evil is tolerated.
We need people who are determined to reverse major policies and dramatically change the staus quo. Not who just accept continual defeat and degredation. We need leaders who embrace traditional culture and values and aren’t going to buckle the second some propagandist throws an accusation at them.

Has anyone else noticed that the number of hyphenated identity groups started to increase when the unconstitutional “hate crime” bills were passed at state and federal levels?
Seriously youse guys, please show me where in the constitution or the bill of rights that states a particular identity group of persons has more value than any other individual.
I really don’t care what public events a private company sponsor, it’s their right to promote there business any legal way they choose.
Most of us do not want any special interests shoved in our face or put upon our children
The greater issue is the promotion of identity groups by government and municipalities with public funds.
    Want a parade?
    Sure, you pay for it.

    This is ridiculous!

bath and body with a drag queen tells me all I need to know. Nashville should not be in the business of putting this on.

I appreciate that the TS allows comments, however, it seems that the time it takes for them to be “moderated” dissuades meaningful community discussion. By the time a comment is actually posted there is a high likelihood that most people interested enough to read the article have already done so. They may want to comment – but why bother if no on else is saying anything?
Additionally, the articles are too promptly removed to allow continued discussion, even if one has managed to start.

If we are all equal should we have “pride month”, “black month”, “women month”, “heterosexual month”, “white month”, or any other “month” that in actuality divides us further into sub groups rather than treating us all as one human group?
