The United Football League (UFL) announced its full 2025 game schedule on Thursday, adding that the league’s media partners – FOX, ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, FOX Deportes, and ESPN Deportes – will broadcast all 43 games.
“We are thrilled to have exceptional partners like FOX and ESPN, who share our passion for celebrating the game and telling our story to a wide audience,” Russ Brandon, UFL President and CEO said in a statement. “With the launch of FOX UFL Friday, we’re excited to invite new fans to experience the incredible talent and heart that our players bring to the field.”
The 2025 season will begin on Friday, March 28, at 8 p.m. ET, with a highly anticipated matchup between the St. Louis Battlehawks and the Houston Roughnecks on FOX UFL Friday. This new weekly show will feature UFL games on Friday nights throughout the 10-week regular season. ABC will cap off the season with its broadcast of the 2025 UFL Championship Game, scheduled for Saturday, June 14.
FOX Sports will stream its games on the FOX Sports App, while ESPN platforms will stream games on ESPN+.
The opening weekend will feature several key games. On Saturday, March 29, FOX will present the San Antonio Brahmas vs. Arlington Renegades at 4 p.m. ET from Arlington, Texas. ESPN will begin its 2025 coverage on Sunday, March 30, with a doubleheader: the Michigan Panthers will face off against the Memphis Showboats at 12 p.m. ET, followed by the defending UFL Champions, the Birmingham Stallions, traveling to Washington, D.C. to take on the D.C. Defenders at 3 p.m. ET.

UFL officials say the 2025 UFL season will feature 40 regular-season matchups, two playoff games, and the Championship game.
ESPN will broadcast 22 games across ABC (12), ESPN (9), and ESPN2 (1). FOX Sports will air 21 games across FOX (20) and FS1 (1). The UFL will also feature 10 weeks of regular season play, including 10 live matchups on FOX UFL Friday. ABC, ESPN, and FOX will broadcast five doubleheaders throughout the season. League officials note that 74 percent of all games airing on either ABC or FOX.
The number of teams in the fledgling league stands in 2025 at eight. They are:

UFL Conference Championships will air on Sunday, June 8. The top two teams from each conference will compete for a spot in the Championship game. ABC will broadcast the first matchup at 3:00 p.m. ET, followed by FOX’s broadcast of the second game at 6:00 p.m. ET.
