Robert Kennedy Jr., a former independent presidential candidate, reversed course and told his supporters in every state to vote for former President Trump, the GOP presidential nominee.

He previously said his supporters could still vote for him on the ballot in uncompetitive states, despite his endorsement of Trump.

“No matter what state you live in, I urge you to vote for Donald Trump,” he wrote in a fundraising email on Thursday. “The reason is that is the only way we can get me and everything I stand for into Washington D.C. and fulfill the mission that motivated my campaign.”

Kennedy had said initially he would remove his name from the ballot in 10 swing states.

Kennedy is now removing his name in more states than previously planned, according to a report from the Washington Post.

He has now removed his name in traditionally red states like South Carolina, Texas, Utah and Wyoming.
