Joe Rogan: ‘Real Fraud’ Happened in Kari Lake’s Election, ‘Some Real Shenanigans’

Podcaster Joe Rogan asserted that “real fraud” happened in Arizona’s 2022 elections, calling the breakdown of election equipment on that day “shenanigans” that impacted the outcome of the race.

Rogan made his remarks about the Arizona election during a Thursday interview with Valuetainment founder Patrick Bet-David on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” asking the entrepreneur, “How much election fraud do you think is real,” before adding, “because I don’t think it’s zero.”

“We know that there’s some irregularities,” said Rogan, quickly adding, “That Kari Lake stuff in Arizona that they’re trying to dismiss? It doesn’t look like that’s invalid, it looks like there’s real fraud there. It looks like there’s some real shenanigans there.” A clip of Rogan’s statements about the Arizona election went viral on X, formerly Twitter, with more than 1.1 million views at press time.

Rogan also alluded to reports about the many voting machine errors, largely in Republican strongholds, that forced voters to wait in line for hours on Election Day.

“There was voting machines that weren’t working properly, and it seems very suspicious that a lot of them were in Republican areas.” Rogan added, “I think there’s coordinated efforts to make sure that people get elected.”

Ultimately, ballot printer issues affected more than 70 vote centers on Election Day last year, resulting in long lines as tabulator machines failed to read some voters’ ballots. A report commissioned by Maricopa County cast blame on printers purchased from Oki Electronic Industry, a Japanese electronics company, which in turn called the report “factually inaccurate.”

In a statement to The Arizona Sun Times, Lake noted that 62 percent of Americans “believe that there is fraud in our elections” and celebrated that Rogan and Bet-David “are brave enough to speak the truths that the Pravda press doesn’t want the public to hear.”

“Our election was stolen in broad daylight. The people of Arizona were disenfranchised,” Lake told The Sun Times. “That’s why I’m fighting for election reforms that will help ensure what happened to Arizonans never happens to anyone again.”

Lake added, “I want every Arizonan, whether they be Democrat, independent, or Republican, to have faith in our elections once again.”

Bet-David agreed with Rogan’s remarks about election fraud and connected the issue of election integrity to voter ID, noting that Americans have provided identification to Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents whenever they travel by commercial flights since November 2001.

Rogan has stirred controversy for his statements in support of conservative causes in recent years. In 2021, Rogan confronted Dr. Sanjay Gupta of CNN regarding the network’s lies about COVID-19 after previously floating the possibility of suing the cable network for its statements about his use of Ivermectin. When controversial episodes about COVID-19 reportedly threatened his program’s slot on Spotify in early 2022, free speech video streaming platform Rumble offered him $100 million to move to its website.
