Former President Donald Trump is in the lead in a new Arizona poll published Thursday, which found that more than half of the respondents favored Trump over President Joe Biden in a rematch.

The poll, conducted by Fox News, found that 51% of respondents preferred Trump over Biden, while 46% of respondents preferred Biden. The five-point margin is higher than March’s survey, which found that 49% preferred Trump, and 45% preferred Biden.

Trump maintains his five- point lead when polling “extremely motivated” respondents, but that number is 52% in favor of Trump and 47% in favor of Biden. Trump also keeps this five-point lead when adding in third party candidates like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who polled at eight percent. When looking at third party candidates, Trump leads Biden 46% to 41%. Kennedy is not on the ballot in Arizona so far, but Green Party candidate Jill Stein, who polled at 1%, will be.

The poll comes on the same day that a separate survey found Trump with a five point lead over Biden in North Carolina, which is also a swing state, where he leads 48% to 43%. Both polls were conducted after Trump’s guilty verdict in his hush money trial.

The Fox News poll surveyed 1,095 registered Arizona voters, and was conducted from June 1-4. It had a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points.
