Republican US Army Veteran Sam Brown Challenges Nevada Democrat Sen. Jacky Rosen

by Madeleine Hubbard

Afghanistan war veteran Sam Brown is launching his Republican Senate bid Monday to unseat Nevada Democrat Sen. Jacky Rosen.

“In the military, no one asks you what party you’re in. They just want to know that they can count on you to fight alongside them,” Brown said Monday on Twitter. “I’m ready to lead and fight for Nevadans again.”

Brown (pictured above) previously ran for the Republican nomination for Nevada’s U.S. Senate seat in 2022 when he sought to oust Democrat Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, but former state Attorney General Adam Laxalt secured the nomination.

“This bid for the Senate is really rooted in the fact that Nevadans are worried about losing the American dream and what our kids are going to inherit,” Brown told Fox News Digital ahead of his bid Monday. “People are hurting. Inflation is high, the economy is as unstable and people want a leader and a champion for them in D.C., and that’s me.”

Brown retired from the U.S. Army as a captain and received a Purple Heart. He was seriously injured and burned when an IED exploded during his 2008 Afghanistan deployment.

National Republican Senatorial Committee chair Sen. Steve Daines of Montana endorsed Brown.

“Sam Brown’s life of service and sacrifice is an inspiration to all Americans. I am very pleased that Sam is stepping up to run for the U.S. Senate,” Daines said.

Good luck captain! The Senate, actually Congress, needs representatives like you. Please Nevada voters, support this man. The likes of Schumer, Klobachar, Sanders, Romney, the lying Elizabeth Warren and the intellectually challenged Fetterman need to be reshuffled to the minority where than cannot inflict so much damage to this country.
