Garland Favorito, head of Georgia-based election integrity group VoterGA, is scheduled to speak at the 2023 Republican Party State Convention this week.
“Garland Favorito will debunk election myths, identify numerous cases of fraud, errors and irregularities in Georgia’s past two general elections and explain to Georgia Republicans how legislative action is required to protect our 2024 elections from previous failures,” VoterGA states on its website, detailing Favorito’s appearance at the event.
Favorito has nearly 20 years of experience researching electronic voting systems and more than four decades of information technology experience. His nonprofit organization, VoterGA, investigated and allegedly found forensic evidence of manipulation and fraud in the 2020 election.
Last March, Favorito sat down with The Star News Network National Political Editor Neil W. McCabe and alleged that a search-and-replace program was used to manipulate the Fulton County results in the 2020 election.
“The evidence that we saw showed that ballot images appear to have been replaced by other ballot images,” Favorito stated at the time of the interview.
Favorito’s segment at the 2023 Republican Party State Convention will take place on Friday, June 9, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Admission to the convention is required to attend Favorito’s speech.
The convention will take place both on Friday and Saturday, according to the Georgia Republican Party (GAGOP).
In an email sent to delegates cited by The Hill, GAGOP announced that the convention’s Friday keynote speaker will be former Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake.
Saturday’s keynote address will feature former President Donald Trump, according to Atlanta-based news outlet 11Alive, which also noted that Georgia Governor Brian Kemp would not attend.
Other notable speakers scheduled to speak at the convention include Republican presidential candidates Asa Hutchinson and Vivek Ramaswamy. The event will also host various other members of Congress and elected officials from the Peach State.
