Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc. to Hire 250 Employees for Ole Red Nashville

Grand Ole Opry member Blake Shelton and Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc. are preparing to open the doors to a 26,000-square-foot restaurant and entertainment venue in the heart of Music City’s famed Lower Broadway, Ole Red Nashville, in May.

In order to prepare for the grand opening, the company will be hosting a job fair March 8-16 at 114 2nd Ave North to fill its 250 open positions.  Applicants are being asked to apply online prior to the job fair at olered.com/jobs.  Prescreening for qualified candidates is set to begin immediately.

Organizers are hiring both full-time and part-time positions with an extensive list of benefits that includes paid parking for employees during their shifts, health insurance offerings and eligibility to participate in the company’s 401(k).

Ole Red needs workers to fill positions for a full range of restaurant, bar and retail store including servers, host/hostess, bartenders, prep cooks and security.

Designed to embody the spirit of Shelton’s clever, irreverent third chart hit “Ol’ Red,” the venue includes a two-story bar and restaurant, retail area, performance space, dance floor, and private VIP booths for small groups. The property will also feature a large, private event space and a 6,000-square-foot rooftop with an indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant showcasing panoramic views of Lower Broadway.

The performance space at Ole Red Nashville will be equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system and acoustics tailor-made for the event programming that will take place there, including intimate concerts, live-band karaoke, showcases for up-and-coming talent and more to be announced as the property gears up for the opening.

The Nashville location of Ole Red follows the opening of Shelton’s original location in his hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma in September 2017.
