Nashville Predators Beat Penguins 4 to 1 to Tie Stanley Cup Final Two Games Apiece

The Nashville Predators stomped the Pittsburgh Penguins 4 to 1 in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final to tie the NHL championship series at two games each.

The momentum of the championship clearly swung towards the Predators on Monday, who scored first first midway through the first period to jump to a 1 to nothing lead over the Penguins.

Perennial Penguins All-Star Sidney Crosby answered barely a minute later to tie the game up at 1 each, but Nashville stormed back in the second and third period with three unanswered goals to claim the 4 to 1 victory.

Nashville Goalie Pekka Rinne was stellar between the pipes, completely shutting the Penguins down after the lone goal by Cosby.

The best of seven series continues until later this week.
