Jen Psaki Calls Steve Bannon ‘A Brain Bending Communicator’ Who Sounds ‘Almost Rational’ After Interview with ABC’s Jonathan Karl

Former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki said on ABC’s This Week on Sunday that Steve Bannon is “a brain bending communicator” who sounds “almost rational” after the program played ABC’s Jonathan Karl’s exclusive interview with the former Trump White House advisor and current WarRoom host.

“First of all, he is a brain bending communicator,” Pskaki said of Bannon.

“What I mean by that is when you watch it, and I was sitting there thinking he’s suggesting they’re going to work within the system to go after enemies, right, which makes it sounds almost rational, and that to me is very scary,” Psaki (pictured here) continued.

“When he mentioned Project 2025 and held up the entire binder of that … the biggest thing about Project 2025 is taking over the Department of Justice, and basically taking away all its power, so that Trump can go after political enemies, prosecute them, do whatever he wants. That is what the big plan is,” she added.

“It’s all interesting because tomorrow the Supreme Court is going to rule on immunity. This is a guy… he talks to him all the time [pointing at fellow panel member and former RNC Chairman Reince Priebus] . . . Trump is a guy who is out there every day running on the notion that he is immune, essentially, that he can do whatever he wants,” Psaki concluded.

Bannon is scheduled to report to the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut on Monday to begin a four month sentence after being convicted in a federal court for contempt of Congress.

Late Friday, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts denied Bannon’s last minute request to delay reporting to prison pending the result of his ongoing appeal of his conviction.

Bannon will co-host a special edition of WarRoom Sunday evening on Real Americas Voice, and on Monday morning, from 10 am to noon ET, will host a “Change of Command” edition of WarRoom, broadcast live from outside the FCI Danbury prison facility just hours before he reports for his four month prison sentence.
