Biden Calls Trump a Convicted Felon, Trump Responds by Bringing Up Hunter Biden Conviction

by Charlotte Hazard

President Joe Biden on Thursday called presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump a “convicted felon,” referencing his New York conviction.

This resulted in Trump bringing up first son Hunter Biden and his recent conviction.

“When he talks about a convicted felon, his son is a convicted felon at a very high level,” Trump said. “His son is convicted [and] going to be convicted probably numerous other times…..should have been convicted before.”

Last month, Trump was found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree for his reimbursement of a $130,000 payment his then-lawyer Michael Cohen made to porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

Recently, Hunter Biden was found guilty of making a false statement on a gun application and being in possession of a firearm while being a drug user.

Trump then went on to criticize the Justice Department, arguing that it was politicized under Biden.

“His Justice Department let the statute of limitations lapse on the most important things, but he could be a convicted felon as soon as he gets out of office,” he said.
