Biden DOJ Convicts ‘J6 Praying Grandma’ Rebecca Lavrenz, 71, Who Faces Year in Prison

The Biden Department of Justice successfully convicted 71-year-old January 6 defendant Rebecca Lavrenz on Thursday. Known as the “J6 Praying Grandma,” the great grandmother now faces up to a year in prison and a serious fine.

Lavrenz, who owns and operates a Colorado bed and breakfast, was convicted by a Washington, D.C. jury after almost 26 hours of deliberation, The Gazette reported.

The jury convicted Lavrenz of entering and remaining in a restricted building, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building, disorderly and disruptive conduct in the Capitol building, and parading and demonstrating in a restricted building.

In a Friday appearance on Steve Bannon’s War Room, Lavrenz explained that she only spent 10 minutes inside the U.S. Capitol and traveled from Colorado on January 6 to pray for the future of the United States.

“I went there to pray,” Lavrenz told Bannon. She explained that she was in Washington, D.C., on January 6 “because I love God, my country, and my family, and I knew that something wasn’t right in that 2020 election.”

Lavrenz added that she was initially motivated to become active in politics during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Even before that, I just said our country is going down with all the liberties that felt like they were stripped away from us in 2020,” she explained. “I just thought, we’ve got to keep President Trump in there, because he’s the only one fighting to keep our nation free, and I knew that his heart was in the right place and I did whatever I could to campaign for him to get out the vote.”

The great-grandmother further added that she drove to Washington, D.C., from Colorado because of her stance against face masks. She stressed, “I went out there, just strictly to pray, all by myself.”

Prior to her conviction, Lavrenz posted updates about her case to her fundraiser on the Christian platform GiveSendGo.

“I took the stand this morning,” wrote Lavrenz on April 1. “My voice in the courtroom today was a voice for all of us, and I said everything that could have been said.”

Former President Donald Trump posted to his social media platform, Truth Social, to denounce the conviction and declare Lavrenz was “unfairly targeted by Crooked Joe Biden’s DOJ.”

“Rebecca is a 72-year-old Grandmother and Small Business Owner from Colorado, and now she is one of Joe Biden’s J6 HOSTAGES!” Trump added, “Crooked Joe spends more time prosecuting Patriots like Rebecca, AND ME, than the Violent Criminals, Thugs, Murderers, and ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS who are destroying our country.”

Biden’s federal government announced in January that it had made more than 1,265 arrests in its January 6 dragnet, and more citizens are expected to be charged in 2024.

Can you trust the morals and Christian beliefs of someone who supports trump? I’m not sure I could.

A jury also found OJ not guilty

D.C. jury strikes again! Notoriously biased. She should have been able to change venues to one where the jury pool DIDN’T vote 98% Democrat.

You do understand it was a jury that convicted this lady right? Do you not understand this concept? Juries also found Donald Trump guilty, do you know what a jury is? Do you need to go back to school to learn about the concept of a jury? We here in reality, have evidence and then 12 individuals decide on guilt or innocence. Please tell me you are not that ignorant.
