U.S. Senate candidate Bill Hagerty on Thursday announced he will host a telephone town hall with conservative political strategist Kellyanne Conway to talk about maintaining the Senate majority and ensuring President Donald Trump has allies in the Senate.
This, according to a press release Hagerty published on his campaign’s website.
The telephone town hall is scheduled for 11 a.m. Eastern Time/10 a.m. Central Time Thursday, June 25, the press release said.
“I am honored Kellyanne Conway will be able to answer questions from Tennesseans on holding the Senate majority,” Hagerty said in the press release.
“We worked together during the 2016 presidential election to elect President Donald Trump. She’s been a great friend to our family, and a leader in the Republican Party. I’m grateful that she will be able to join us to give us an update on President Trump’s re-election campaign and the importance of sending more strong conservatives to Washington.”
Conway said in the press release that the country needs a Republican Senate majority “to fight back against the increasingly radical agenda of the Democrats.”
“We need more strong conservative leaders, like Bill Hagerty, in the Senate to stand against the socialist agenda of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and ‘The Squad’ that doesn’t do squat. Bill was a member of Team Trump before it was politically popular,” Conway said in the press release.
“He was there for us in 2016, so I’m happy to be there for him now in 2020. We must hold and grow the majority and elect people who will fight for the values that are so important to conservatives across the country, including Tennessee, and Bill is the right man for the job.”

As The Tennessee Star reported this week, U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) has endorsed Hagerty and also appeared on a tele-town hall conference with the candidate.
