Carol Swain Discusses the Affirmative Action Silver Lining of the 2020 Presidential Election and Takes Call from Caller Carl

Live from Music Row Thursday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. –  host Leahy welcomed all-star panelist, Dr. Carol Swain, to the studio to discuss the new evidence surrounding the alleged voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election and talks with Democrat Caller Carl.

Leahy: We are joined in the studio by our all-star panelist, former Vanderbilt Professor, former, Nashville Mayoral candidate, and good friend, Carol Swain. Good morning, Carol.

Swain: Good morning, Michael. How are you?

Leahy: I am in a very positive mood this morning.

Swain: I’ll try to keep it that way. (Laughter)

Leahy: Well, we’ll see. We’ll see. I do think that the probability that Donald Trump will be inaugurated for a second term is greater today than it was yesterday. Would you agree with that?

Swain: Things are looking better and better as more evidence of voter fraud falls out of the closet.

Leahy: I think the Democrats have made a huge mistake by intimidating the two GOP canvassers in Wayne County big time. Wayne County Detroit.

Swain: I agree but there’s so much more being exposed. But the mainstream media, they’re not necessarily covering it and Fox discounts the evidence of fraud.

Leahy: Oh my goodness. Fox has gone to the dark side. And we’ll talk about that more a little bit later. But I want to go through the numbers here. So the mainstream media has already proclaimed that Joe Biden has won 306 Electoral College votes and Donald Trump has only 132 except according to our Constitution and our federal statute every election must be certified.

First at the county level. Then by the Secretary of State. And then the state legislature which has the constitutional right to appoint electors has the opportunity to review that certification. And they can either accept or reject it. And they have the duty to appoint electors. Not the Secretary of State and not the voters. It’s the state legislatures.

Swain: Well, then it comes down to how much courage do Republicans have? And I hate to say that I have not seen a lot of evidence of much of that across the country.

Leahy: I can’t say I disagree with you but it’s an interesting time and the Democrats across the board have been brazen in their cheating. And in Wayne County, you lose Wayne County and if you are Biden you lose Michigan.

Swain: Let’s say that in this election cycle in the major cities that were run by Democrats and staffed by people that were being funded by outside sources…

Leahy: Mark Zuckerberg.

Swain: Right. I mean those people are known for cheating.

Leahy: Well in Wayne County. They got a five million dollar grant from Mark Zuckerberg’s group, and they paid for the people that counted the votes and they paid for the discrepancies in 70 percent of the absentee ballots. And they paid for the Wayne County Council who intimidated the GOP canvassers.

Swain: I think this election is an election where you see affirmative action in action (Leahy chuckles) because one of the arguments about mail-in voting and absentee voting that I’ve heard is that minorities are more likely to make mistakes on their ballots. And so it seems to me that there was a wink, wink when it came to mistakes on ballots in minority communities as well as outright cheating. And I guarantee you when they find the people that are behind the voter fraud they will be disproportionately minorities.

Leahy: Well, and I think that the argument is they’ve been certainly taken advantage of by the Zuckerberg funded group and by the Democratic election administration.

Swain: They always use minorities and the consequences will not be severe as they should be because of the fact that they will say that these are minorities reacting to decades of systemic racism.

Leahy: And let me run through the numbers right now. You need 270 College votes to win the presidency. You need a majority of the 538 cast, even if they’re not appointed. So we’re at 306 to 232 according to mainstream media. Let’s say the Michigan legislature says there’s cheating going on here we are not appointing Biden electors or we’re not appointing any electors.

Which I think is a possibility. Biden goes down from 306 to 290 same problem in Pennsylvania. 220 electoral college votes get kicked out. Biden’s down to 270. That leaves Georgia where there are huge problems. I think Lin Wood is going to win his lawsuit against the Secretary of State there. I think you get down to 259 for Biden even if some electors aren’t appointed and there is no majority and it gets kicked into the House of Representatives where each state has one vote. It’s 28-22 at the state delegation level for Republicans then Donald Trump.

Swain: What’s happening in Nevada and Wisconsin?

Leahy: I don’t know about Nevada. I know in Wisconsin there is a recount is only 20,000 votes separating them. We are joined now by our good friend Carl. Carl is a liberal Democrat. Carl and I have a wager on the outcome of this election. If Joe Biden is inaugurated I pay for dinner. And if Donald Trump is inaugurated Carl pays for dinner. Carl, I think my odds are improving today. Welcome to the Tennessee Star Report, Carl. Good morning Carl.

Caller Carl: It’s funny how you put a label on me as a liberal Democrat.

Leahy: Is it incorrect Carl? How would you describe yourself?

Carl: I would describe myself as a person that would like to elect competent people. How about that?

Swain: He’s a good American.

Leahy: So it’s inaccurate for me to describe you as a liberal Democrat.

Swain: If he was a liberal Democrat he wouldn’t even be listening to your show.

Leahy: Oh, I think he would.

Carl: I’m not the type to just sit in my bubble. I want to hear evidence.

Leahy: I will withdraw that characterization Carl. You are a man of competence and we have a wager.

Carl: So you all are making the tragic mistake in fighting the last war when you need to be paying attention to the next war in 2024. This thing is over.

Leahy: Well, let me just stop. Have you read the Constitution?

Carl: Hmm. Hmm.

Leahy: Okay, does the Constitution say that major news networks get to determine the president?

Carl: No.

Leahy: Okay. So the Constitution says that electors get to determine the President right?

Carl: Absolutely.

Leahy: Have they been appointed yet in any state?

Carl: No. So here’s my point. You guys lost Georgia and Arizona and Virginia is gone.

Leahy: Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.

Carl: New Mexico is gone. Colorado is gone. And Texas is teetering.

Swain: Who says we lost? And if it had not been for the coronavirus used to relax standards and the mail-in ballots. We don’t know what the Supreme Court’s going to do. You don’t know what the Supreme Court’s going to do. And what I like about this election and I can find something good to like about it is that it’s uncovered the fraud that’s been taking place for decades. In 2012 ever since they started using the computer systems. Votes have been stolen. They’ve always voted the dead. They always voted illegal and now the American people know this.

Carl: Are we going to have a conversation or are you going to talk over me?

Swain: (Inaudible crosstalk) It’s my hour and you have a few more seconds.

Leahy: Carl, Carol controls the time when she’s in here.

Carl: Point taken and point agreed to.

Leahy: You’re always welcome to your view here Carl.

Carl: Yeah. Well, the bigger picture is this, pay attention to the map. You’ve lost Virginia, Colorado and New Mexico. They’re gone. You don’t do something quick about this and stop screaming fraud and get people out to approve of your form of governance you will lose their electoral college map every time from here on out. It’s looking dire for the Republican Party. That’s what I’m saying.

Leahy: Well if we allow voter fraud to continue I would agree with you, but that vote fraud is the key issue.

Swain: The other thing is that Donald J. Trump did extremely well among racial and ethnic minorities and the whole Democratic game depends on being able to manipulate those blocks of voters. It’s not clear that this is going to continue. I think the gig is up. Minorities care about the same things as other Americans. They don’t want their guns taken away. They don’t want their constitutional rights eroded. They want prosperity and hope. You don’t get it from the Democrats.

Leahy: 30 seconds. The last word is yours, Carl.

Carl: I totally agree with everything you just said. I don’t believe that they’re trying to take anyone’s liberty or guns away. That would be a foolish political move. You will lose every time. Pay attention to the map. Maps don’t lie.

Leahy: Thanks. And thanks for that comment. I will be having a meal with Carl. I do think the odds that he’s paying for it are higher today than they were yesterday.

Swain: I’ll come along and pay for my own.

Leahy: All right, we’ll have a big party. Let’s have a big party and we’ll invite Carl. One of us will pay for the others depending on the outcome of the election.
