The propaganda arms of the Chinese Communist Party have set their sights on Steve Bannon, a former White House chief strategist and vocal critic of China’s Communist regime.
Bannon now hosts a popular radio show called “War Room: Pandemic” and has dedicated numerous segments and even whole shows to exposing the evils of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
“Xi Jinping and his radical cadre of gangsters have the blood of the world on their hands. They must be held accountable for this death and economic devastation. We look forward to enlightening our listeners on the existential threat of the CCP – not simply to the world, but in particular, to the people of China,” Bannon said in an April statement.
In an interview with The Tennessee Star Report, Bannon said the coronavirus pandemic is “the sole responsibility” of the CCP and called it a “biological Chernobyl.”
“They are the enemies of the United States. They are the enemies of all mankind. They have a tremendous amount of money. A tremendous amount of influence. A tremendous amount of power. You try to take them on, you better be prepared to get punched because they punch hard,” Bannon said.
As predicted, the CCP is now punching back. China Central Television (CCTV) called Bannon a “shameless anti-Chinese pioneer” who wants to “make the world in chaos.”

The propaganda network further accused “sinister American politicians” of cooperating with Bannon to “take advantage” of the crisis.
The China Global Television Network (CGTN), another state-operated outlet, has published several articles attacking Bannon and called him a “modern day demagogue.”
“His vitriolic offensive against the Communist Party of China is also an attempt to gain political relevance at a time when Bannon has been operating at the fringes of American politics, unable to undo his rapid fall into oblivion since first leaving the White House,” another article claimed.
A final article said the “biggest threat facing the U.S.” is not the coronavirus, but “right-wing populists” like Bannon.
