Crom’s Crommentary: ‘Biden and the Left Wake Up Every Day and Say, I’m Going to Be Miserable, Angry, and Tear as Many of Our Institutions Apart as I Possibly Can’

Live from Music Row Wednesday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – host Leahy welcomed original all-star panelist Crom Carmichael to the studio for another edition of Crom’s Crommentary.

CROM CARMICHAEL:

Michael, I did not watch all of Biden’s speech in Buffalo, but I have watched a whole bunch of different sound bites, and I’ve seen a bunch of commentary on it. And it may be the darkest speech that any president has ever given.

You have a terrible tragedy in Buffalo, where there were 10 or 12 people, 13 people [shot]. And almost all of those people were black, but some of the people were white who were [shot or] killed.

Biden, rather than trying to heal the community and speak to the nation in compassionate terms, gave a speech that was just full of anger and full of hate. And it’s really quite sad. And by the way, the person who perpetrated these things is mentally ill and obviously a very angry person.

And that person gets up every morning, or at least in his recent life, gets up every morning and becomes angrier as the day goes on, and then it culminated in a mass shooting.

Biden gets up every day now – I mean, that speech, if that truly reflects what he thinks, if he thinks that under that circumstance and that’s all he can think of to say – he gets up every day angry. He gets up every day.

And now you have, I think it’s well over 70 percent of the population thinks the country is headed in the wrong direction, well over 70 percent. And Biden, on individual issues like the economy and immigration and crime and the border, there is 75 percent opposition.

And these are the four biggest topics. And in Biden’s mind, 75 percent of people who think his policies are terrible and reflected by inflation and declining civility in our country, he thinks that they are all terrible people.

He thinks that somehow he is anointed with wisdom. And on one hand, you could be angry about it. On the other hand, you look at it, and I’m saddened that the leadership in this country is so pathetic.

And this is not a time when we need pathetic leadership. We can’t coast through these times. I’m very concerned now. I don’t think Biden is going to get any better. I don’t think he’s going to become a wiser person, a more thoughtful person, a more discerning person.

And I just think that from now through the midterms, all we’re going to hear from Biden is this, and what’s so unfortunate is the very highly paid people in the media who are paid to be mouthpieces of the Democratic Party.

They’re now being forced to be hate-filled themselves. Before, they could just argue policy, but now they’re having to argue hate every day and call their listeners hateful people.

And the people who come on the air are paid also, the paid contributors are paid to say what a hate-filled country this is. And, you know, when people get up in the morning, they decide – the people who succeed and are happy and accomplish things in life, they say, I’m going to be happy today, I’m going to succeed today. I’m going to make a difference today.

For Biden and the Left, it is precisely the opposite. They’re saying, I’m going to be miserable today, I’m going to be angry today, and I’m going to tear as many of our institutions apart as I possibly can. And that’s a sad commentary.
