Tennessee U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN) released the names of the 39 outstanding Tennesseans he has nominated this year for admittance to the U.S. Service Academies, his office told The Tennessee Star in an exclusive announcement.
“America lives up to its namesake as ‘land of the free and home of the brave’ because of the men and women who pursue a career of military service,” Senator Hagerty said. “Each student I am nominating has demonstrated integrity, leadership, patriotism, and hard work and will undoubtedly be invaluable additions to our armed forces. I am proud of these Tennesseans for answering the worthy call to serve and deeply admire them for their dedication to our Nation.”
According to Senator Hagerty’s office, in order to attend one of the United State Military Service Academies (U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, and U.S. Military Academy at West Point) one must receive a Congressional Nomination from one of their State’s U.S. Senators, a U.S. Congressman, or the Vice President. In order to be considered for a Congressional nomination to one of the U.S. Military Service Academies, an applicant must meet all of the eligibility criteria required by the respective Service Academy, as well as be at least 17 years of age, but not yet 23 by July 1 of the year he or she is admitted to the Service Academy, be a United States Citizen at the time he or she enters the Service Academy, and a legal resident of Tennessee, and be unmarried, not pregnant, and have no legal obligation to support children or other dependents.

I just read that Dizzy Bill Hagerty has been buying and selling stocks! He sold over $4,000,000! Why did he not put his stocks in a blind trust? It looks to me like Hagerty is following little Bob Corker in making millions while in the senate! Please resign dizzy Bill! You are acting like Joe and Hunter Biden! I forgot to mention you also look like Nancy Pelosi enriching yourself while serving in the senate! Your actions are shameful! You are out of step with working Tennesseans! I wish the Tennessee Star would follow a story line Politicians enriching their self’s while in public office!
No disrespect for the nominees but it looks like Hagerty has finally managed to find a job he can do. Too bad he is lousy senator.
Good deal. Just keep the away from experimental injections of God knows what?
