The United States flag flies at half-staff (or half-mast) when the nation or a STATE is in mourning. The president, through a presidential proclamation, a state governor, or the mayor of the District of Columbia can order flags to fly at half-staff. Most often, this is done to mark the death of a government official, military member, or first responder; in honor of Memorial Day or other national day of remembrance; or following a national tragedy.
Governors can also direct that the state flag be lowered to honor state officials, military members who died during service to the country, or PROMINENT CITIZENS. Flying the flag at half-staff for Rush Limbaugh is in compliance with past practice.
Nikki Fried is wrong. She may not like Limbaugh but she does not have the authority to over-ride the governor’s order. Commissioner Fried technically answers to the Governor.

It is pretty clear who represents hatred, bigotry, tyranny, and communism—and it isn’t rush Limbaugh.

These pukes are dangerous and are running the US right now. Will America wake up?

A fool and her follies. I think it is actually good for her to show her true colors.

If she was elected, then it’s time for a recall vote immediately. Same thing for Marc Cuban.

If the Governor has it in his power, it is time for this woman to go. She cannot be allowed to following orders that she likes, and not the ones she dis-likes. Unless she was elected, she should be gone.

      She was elected.

She is elected. I think she was the only democrap elected to a state wide position. Probably a few folks are regretting that vote.
