Former GOP County Chair Hannah Announces Candidacy for Williamson County Register of Deeds

Franklin Businesswoman and Former Williamson County Republican Party Chairwoman Julie Hannah launched her campaign for Williamson County Register of Deeds today.

“After lots of time in prayer with my family and much encouragement from friends, neighbors, and colleagues, I am excited to announce my candidacy for Register of Deeds,” said Hannah.

Former Williamson County Republican Woman Chairwoman Brenda Davis said she was part of a group of individuals who approached Hannah to run, and Davis will now serve as Hannah’s campaign manager.

“Six weeks ago, many potential supporters approached Julie about running for this open seat,” said Davis. “We were thrilled that Julie would seriously consider serving our county in this capacity, and we offered our help and support however possible. After just a few short weeks of meeting with supporters and potential donors, Julie today starts her campaign with more than $25,000 already collected. This high level of support is a true testament to Julie’s proven conservative leadership in the business world, our Republican Party and our community.”

Hannah expressed gratitude for the support she has already received.

“I deeply appreciate the enormous amount of trust dozens of Williamson Countians have already invested in me, and I am eager to meet and get to know many more of the hard-working people who make Williamson County the best place anywhere to live, work and raise a family,” she said.

Hannah also praised outgoing Register of Deeds Sadie Wade for her service.

“It is an honor to run to replace someone who has been such a long-standing fixture in our community,” Hannah said. “Sadie’s experience will be deeply missed and I hope she will remain a resource to the office for years to come.”

Since age 24, Julie Hannah has started or owned seven separate businesses. A first-time candidate for office, she served as Williamson County Republican Party Chairwoman from 2015-2017 and is very involved in our community. Julie and her two teenage boys are members of Forrest Hills Baptist Church.
