Hobbs Still Silent on Election Questions after Hurling F-Bomb at Reporter

Governor Katie Hobbs continues to keep her silence on key questions regarding the 2022 election in Arizona days after hurling an expletive at a reporter.

Hobbs once again ignored questions about her role as Arizona Secretary of State in the 2022 elections when confronted by Jordan Conradson, a reporter for The Gateway Pundit. She ultimately ordered Conradson to “give it a f**king rest” in a now-viral video posted last week.

At press time, Hobbs has yet to address the questions Conradson asked about the 2022 election when posed to her press team by The Arizona Sun Times, remaining silent on allegations that voting machine tests in Maricopa County were improper, and her oversight of mail-in ballots left room for fraud.

Last month State Representative David Livingston (R-Peoria) filed a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office asking for an investigation into Hobbs’ actions in 2022, questioning if she used her position as Secretary of State to influence the 2022 election. Neither Hobbs nor Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes have offered a public response to the claims.

Hobbs also has not responded to an inquiry from The Sun Times asking if she intends to apologize to Conradson for her outburst, or whether Hobbs believes her language set a positive example for the children of Arizona.

The mail-in affidavits referenced by Conradson became known to Lake and her Republican allies after a Superior Court judge in Maricopa County ruled that the envelopes are not “a voter registration record.” Meanwhile, previous reporting by Conradson asserts that about 10 percent of envelopes he reviewed contained “obviously mismatched signatures.”

In court this May, former Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake provided an expert who testified that 274,000 ballot envelope signatures were compared by election workers for only 3 seconds, which critics say is not enough time to determine if the signature was legitimate. As The Sun Times reported, Maricopa County did not have an expert to contradict Lake’s claims.

Hobbs won the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election after a lengthy vote counting process. Lake, who has strongly contested the election results, argues that thousands of Republicans were disenfranchised on Election Day, when voting machine errors happened in at least 60 percent of Maricopa County voting locations. Lake has vowed to take her election lawsuit to the Supreme Court if necessary.

In a short video of Hobbs’ interaction with Conradson, the governor was flanked by security at her gym as she briskly walked away from Conradson. The reporter asked Hobbs a series of questions about her administration of the 2022 election when she was Arizona Secretary of State.

“Give it a f**king rest, Jordan,” Hobbs shot at Conradson. “I’m at the gym.”

Conradson added in his reporting that Hobbs’ use of foul language “is nothing new,” and cited a 2022 tweet in which the then-Secretary of State wrote “F**k the patriarchy” and asked followers to donate to her gubernatorial campaign.

Hobbs was declared the victor in the 2022 election by approximately 17,000. About 1.3 million votes were cast at Maricopa County voting locations.

  1. Concerned

What a travesty. If she had any common sense her first action should have been to take an unpaid leave of absence as Secretary of State. Even if she is clean, she had every reason and every opportunity to alter the election results. Hobbs lacks judgment and should not be occupying the governor’s office.
