The jury foreperson in the trial that convicted Roger Stone, friend of U.S. Republican President Donald Trump, is a prominent Democratic Party player from Memphis, according to The Daily Memphian.
The website went to report that this woman, Tomeka Hart, is an attorney who served two terms on the Memphis/Shelby County School Board and was board president in 2008-2009.
Hart, who now reportedly lives in Washington D.C., also challenged U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN-09) and “has returned to the city frequently since moving to the nation’s capital, including late last year when she campaigned for Memphis mayoral contender Tami Sawyer.”
Hart, according to The Daily Memphian, spoke out on Facebook after prosecutors withdrew from the case in protest.
“I have kept my silence for months. Initially, it was for my safety. Then, I decided to remain silent out of fear of politicizing the matter,” Hard said on Facebook.
“But I can’t keep quiet any longer. I want to stand up for Aaron Zelinsky, Adam Jed, Michael Marando, and Jonathan Kravis – the prosecutors on the Roger Stone trial,” Hart went on to say
“It pains me to see the DOJ now interfere with the hard work of the prosecutors. They acted with the utmost intelligence, integrity, and respect for our system of justice. For that, I wanted to speak up for them and ask you to join me in thanking them for their service.”
As The Tennessee Star reported in November, Stone was found guilty of witness tampering and lying to Congress about his pursuit of Russian-hacked emails damaging to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 election bid.
Stone was convicted of all seven counts in a federal indictment that accused him of lying to Congress, tampering with a witness and obstructing the House investigation into whether the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia to tip the 2016 election.
Stone denied wrongdoing and consistently criticized the case against him as politically motivated. He did not take the stand during the trial and his lawyers did not call any witnesses in his defense.

How did Stones legal team let that happen?
Tameka Hart is a Memphis spawned race baiting democrat. MISTRIAL at least. She either lied or misheld information to get on that jury in the first place or the trial was a set up from the beginning
The American public needs to see somebody, somewhere, somehow suffer some consequences.
The Deep State deepens.
Corruption is more rampant in DC. Apparently though, that’s not what this was about. It was poor vetting by the defense. Jury selection was handled badly by the defense team. Roger Stone could appeal based on “ineffective assistance”, but poor defense appeals rarely are successful. Here’s what Wikipedia says about precedent anyway: “Under the two-prong Strickland standard, criminal convictions have been affirmed on appeal even where the defense attorney fell asleep during the prosecutor’s cross-examination of the defendant,[3] was heavily intoxicated on alcohol throughout the trial,[4] was in extremely poor health and senile,[5] was mentally ill (and even discussed his delusions in opening argument),[6] or was himself a convicted felon whose sentence included community service in the form of defending accused murderers (despite his lack of experience in such cases).[7]” Of course, “Nothing in law is certain but the expense.”
The point of Strickland is that even extremely incompetent performance of counsel does not support a finding of ineffective assistance, if there was also independent and substantial evidence of the defendant’s guilt—or if the end result would have probably been the same in the specific case, even with a competent counsel.
Oh brother…this is really getting old. The American people are fed up with all the corrupt hateful democrats that are in seats of authority at every level. This woman tops the list! They break the laws of our land and there seems to be no retribution. When are the gloves coming off and Justice served! I have to believe that day is coming sooner than later!
Might this be grounds for a mis-trial declaration?
The Federal Judiciary is really corrupt. I think the problem is the idea that judges are independent. They are only independent of the President who appoints them and the Senste which confirms them, but like the other two branches they are to be “bound by the law” (Article VI, Section 2) which the judge in the Stone case flagrantly violated his First Amendment rights with a gag order preventing him from earning a living in the media as he had been doing. Also the defense was denied relevant evidence re: the DNC server in the supposed Russia collusion Mueller investigation.
Here’s a couple of very prescient quotes by Thomas Jefferson re: the judiciary.
“The dissolution of our federal government is in the constitution of the federal Judiciary; an irresponsible body (for impeachment is scarcely a scare-crow) working like gravity by night and by day, gaining a little today and a little tomorrow, and advancing its noiseless step like a thief, over the field of jurisdiction, until all shall be usurped.” (Letter to Charles Hammond, August 18, 1821)
“The great object of my fear is the Federal Judiciary. That body, like gravity, ever acting with noiseless foot and unalarming advance, gaining ground step by step and holding what it gains, is engulfing insidiously the special governments into the jaws of that which feeds them.” (Letter to Judge Spencer Roane, 1821)
It’s never ending. The corruption and underhanded behavior of the Left is unbelievable. After the presidential election the DoJ needs to clean house and prosecute these immoral people, and I mean all the way up to the House of Reps, and the past Obama administration. To see our political system be bent and twisted by the Left so they can force their liberal/socialist agenda on America is inexcusable!
Hart should have never been allowed on the jury and if it can be proven she willfully hid information she should be prosecuted and the judge removed from the judiciary.. The case should be thrown out.
