Luke Bryan Did Not Disappoint

Two time ACMA Entertainer of the Year Winner, Luke Bryan, once again performed in Nashville on May 5th and 6th, for two sold-out shows at the Bridgestone arena and he did not disappoint.

In the first show of his 2017 Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day Tour he began the evening with his current smash hit, “M O V E,” a fun dance song that energized the crowd.

He also sang old favorites such as “Rain is a Good Thing” and “All My Friends Say” along with love songs, “I Do,” “I Don’t Want This Night to End,” and “Strip it Down.”

Bryan stayed true to his roots, by performing hits such as “Country Man” and “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day.”  There is an authenticity to the Georgian-born Luke Bryan’s music that is lacking in some of the newer country artist.

A crowd favorite was when the audience got to sing along to Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” crooned affectionately for Luke’s wife, Caroline Boyer.  Also relished was the heartfelt, “Drink A Beer” commemorating Luke’s family members who have passed.

On Friday night, Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild surprised the crowd when she showed up and sang her hit duet with Bryan, “Home Alone Tonight” and then sang her mega hit “Girl Crush” as Luke accompanied her on the piano.

Saturday’s crowd was delighted when singer/songwriter Cole Swindell (who at one time sold merchandise for Luke Bryan) sang the song he wrote “Roller Coaster,” a single that made it to number 1 in 2014.

But the biggest surprise of all came Saturday night when Carrie Underwood showed up to support Luke Bryan as she sang “Play it Again” with Bryan and Randy Travis’ “I Told You So.”  Though the two have never recorded a duet together, there is sure to be one in the works after this performance.

The evening ended with Luke’s #1 mega Hit “Country Girl Shake it for Me” along with some awesome rifts from his talented band.

Warming up for Luke Bryan was singer/song writer Adam Craig who had his Bridgestone debut along with up and coming superstar, Brett Eldredge, who just finished up touring with Keith Urban on his sold-out Rip Cord Tour.
