Actor and business owner Mark Wahlberg’s Ohio-based RV dealer launched a new virtual buying experience.
Mark Wahlberg’s Airstream dealerships in Columbus and Cleveland sell and service Airstream travel trailers and touring coaches.
This month, Mark Wahlberg Airstream & RV launched the first Virtual Universe (VU) Digital Connected Airstream Dealership, allowing consumers to buy the Airstream RV brand without visiting an in-person dealership.
Strategic Business Development Partner John Ehmann said he believes the new digital dealership experience will “revolutionize the way people shop for Airstreams and how a dealership will manage the customer journey Before, During and After.”
The digital dealership consists of a Virtual Reality Airstream Showroom, a complete online buying experience, and a file cabinet for customers to digitally store essential Airstream documents, including warranties and titles.
“We’re excited to launch this new connected dealership and share it with our guests,” Chris Haydocy, managing member of Mark Wahlberg Airstream, said in a statement. “We believe that it will provide them with the tools they need to explore the open road and have the adventure of a lifetime. Whether they are looking for the perfect Airstream to buy, information on how to maintain their current Airstream, or simply a place to connect with other Airstreamer’s, we believe this will be a valuable resource for them.”
Wahlberg owns and operates multiple automotive dealerships across Ohio, including Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet and Mark Wahlberg Buick GMC.
The actor’s business portfolio also consists of the movie production company Unrealistic Ideas, health and wellness company Performance Inspired Nutrition, water line AQUAhydrate, and a Wahlburgers Burger Restaurant chain.
Walhberg attributes his success in the acting, music, and business industry to his “working-class family roots,” as he grew up in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston as the youngest of nine siblings.
